Will travel to Bkk & Pattaya in June. Need some assistance in finding accomodation.

The board is full of good suggestions, but im quiet fussy about where I stay. Last time Pattaya I stayed at Amari Orchide resort.Would like same good quality more closer to the action.  (Didnt have any problems bringing back girls) Have been looking at the Recidence, and like it,

but no bath tub.

Any suggestions???

You could try the Sunshine Vista Serviced Apartments in Soi 3

Soft opening..... so rates are negotiable, especially for an extended stay.

To contact apartments directly(for negotiation?) Tel: +66 (0) 38 414 760 - 7  Fax +66 (0) 38 414 769  Email: sunshinevista@yahoo.com

Only Manager can negotiate discounts.

Some of the rooms in the RG have bathtubs , I think they're in the older wing . Try e-mailing Ib & asking him .

When staying in Bangkok, check out the Majestic Suites on Sukhumvit and Soi 4. The rooms are clean with a fridge in each room that makes ice via ice trays, plus there is an electric safe in the closet. You get a free breakfast (in house restaurant) and the rates are low. You are 100 feet from the entrance to Nana Entertainment Plaza and there is no problem bringing girls or outside groceries back to your room. Friendly staff, too. I'll be staying there again in September.

Would stay at Majestic Suites in a heart beat, used it for my transfers in and out of BKK. The room was very small and I'd up grade next time. They have been booked and couldn't get in sometimes.

hoppalong,

If the Amari Orchid was in your price range, than you should have no trouble finding similar properties much closer to the action.    In central area, the Pattaya Marriott has become much more receptive to allowing overnight visitors in their registered guests rooms.

For South Pattaya and FLB Bar, try the Siam Bayshore.   It's one step down from Amari, but a good quality place anyway.  They require ID Check's for first-time visitors, as does the Marriott.
