Don't forget, Mother's Day and the clocks go back tomorrow!!!!!!

They go forward!

Had an early time mishap tonight. I was fixing my ex GF's computer , when we dashed out the house to buy some wine, as it was 9.30 on the said com, and Scottish drink sales stop at 10pm. It was 2 hours out ( 7.30). I didn't think computers got the time wrong, as long as you had the time zone set.

There is an option for synchronising with an Internet time server some-place.

I have forgotten 'Mothers Day' a few times when in other countries and suffered the consequences next time I called.

(I now get a reminder from Hallmark!)

UK SExpats needn't worry. They don't care what time it is anywhere as long as beer and pussy is available.

And why not :beer :bj4

Do your bit for Mothers' Day. JUst say no to condoms.

UK marketing is in hyperdrive these days. Displays walls etc. Easter eggs to the ceiling! You should have seen St patricks day. I wondered why the shops were selling " halloween gear" in March. It wasn't. It was St Pat's gear! On the day, there were huge beer bellied leprechauns, with huge top hats walking about Glasgow.

No need for an expensive genealogy search for you, my friend. Anyone suggesting cutting back on the amber nectar, obviously has no Scottish or Irish blood in their drinkstream
