I think the idea was abandoned to hold a Thai Grand Prix in Bangkok....

The proposed Thai Grand Prix in 2015 looks set to be abandoned after a legislation banned racing on the streets of Bangkok.

As an avid F1 follower I was looking forward to combining a Thailand trip with a GP event...

There is still some hope of finding a suitable venue and with significant amount of Thai sponsorship within F1 (Red Bull and Singha) there is a chance it could still happen.
