Hotels that don't require advance payment

I'm looking for Hotels in Pattaya where I don't have to send my credit card info to reserve a room.  I'm thinking about just getting one at the airport in one of those booths when I get there but I don't know how expensive and/or how good they are.  All the hotels I've seen on-line want you to pay everything in advance, which I don't want to do in case there are problems, or give your credit card number so they can charge you if you dont' show up.  I really don't like the idea of sending my credit card to these guys. Any ideas?

Contact the hotels that you are interested in directly through their email. Many will want a deposit around the high season (Christmas/New Yr) but they don't always need it at other times of the year.

 

Right now you can book for April at Sabai Lodge, Flippers, and the RG without a deposit.

i had to pay a deposit when i checked in, i think 1 night up front.

also the r/g made us pay a few thousand up front last time as well.

is this normal, or is it just us?

When you check in, the hotel takes your credit card detils. Then at the end of your stay you can pay by card or cash. Flipper lodge does have it's own web site.

Booked at RG last October  No deposit required.

Have just booked Roof Garden Inn for March and again no deposit required.

no deposit required at apex hotel either just e mailed them with dates no problem  ;D bj
