Dark Web and Tor

Probably not news to the cognoscenti, but National Public Radio had an interesting and balanced piece on Tor and the dark web. http://www.npr.org/blogs/alltechconsidered/2014/05/25/315821415/going-dark-the-internet-behind-the-internet One thing I didn't know was that Tor was invented by the U.S. Navy and was opened up to others so that the Navy's traffic would be unidentifiable in the mass of other messages.

I saw a report on Tails , last week. It was on the BBC programme " click". Sounded good, but I don't need anything like that.
