Being a newbie to Pattaya I am wondering if anyone knows if some rooms are better than others at the Flipper Lodge? Some have balconies? Views? etc...

I will be coming in January and look forward to seeing who's in town.

I have stayed at both the Flipper Lodge and Flipper House on several trips to Pattaya. At the Flipper Lodge you need to get the 'Sea View' rooms, they have better baths and also a nice view of the ocean. Also I like the Soi 8 beer bar location of the Lodge.

It kind of depends on whether or not you want quiet or a view.  I personally prefer the old wing of Flipper Lodge because it is quieter but the view is uninspiring.  The seaview rooms in the new wing are very noisy in my opinion.  I prefer the south facing rooms in the old wing and as high as possible.

As with everything else, you pretty much get what you pay for.  I don't know what you are used to but the rooms are bigger than Motel 6 and I think nicer.  I am fairly laid back and easy to please.  I have never had any complaints about the rooms from any girl that I brought there but they all close the curtains first thing!
