Bay Breeze Pool

Any BMs stayed at Bay Breeze since it was all re-vamped? I am mainly interested in what the pool is like these days, I never even looked at the pool before cos I understood it was pretty poor.

Hi Gus yes i have stayed at Bay Breeze since it was revamped but IMHO it is a bit over piced now. The pool is the same old one but along with the rooms has been revamped as well with a couple of water fountains, new tiles/grout etc... It is not huge but I used it several times on my stay with no problem

I thought the Bay Breeze prices were reasonable, a standard room for 8 nights is about 900thb per night.

In the past I have stayed on Soi 13 but now rooms there are 1500thb plus, as I am going for 6 weeks I need to keep the lid on things.

 

Bay Breeze can be a little noisy but it is located well for songthaews/Metro etc, just that the sea in Pats is so shit, maybe Mikes mall pool will be best for me.

I stayed at the Bay Breeze for 2 weeks in September......5600thb/week.

Rooms exceptionally clean, and staff extremely friendly and helpful.

At 150thb buffet breakfast one of the best in Patts......eggs-cooked fresh, bacon, beans, fried potatoes, toast.......cereals, yoghurt, quality fruit salads, vegetable salads and a few Thai dishes. English tea and coffee. All you can eat!

Restaurant with a good, varied, inexpensive all day menu with a "Special"

Nice high outside bar area overlooking the street...you can watch the world go by.

Beer at beer bar prices.

Yesterday morning I checked in Bay breeze hotel.

Last time I was here is more than 15 years before. Rooms become clean and no more extremely slow lift. The new lift moves up and down speedy at the same place of the old one. The room safe which is not installed before is convienient for me.

The pool is in level 3 and is very small, but clean, already some guys were swimming.

Yesterday morning I came here at about 7:30. I thought Pattaya is different from what used to be. Check-in time may be 1:00 or 2:00　o'clock, so I prepared to go to short time hotel to spend the time untill afternoon. But I can check in at 7:30 in the morning, there is still flexible Pattaya.

The restaurant is good, with delicious dish and reasonable price.

I will stay 2 nights in dx room, 1650 bht per a night with brecky.
