Portland, Oregon Thai Consulate

Earlier this year I learned there was an Honorary Thai Consulate in Portland, Oregon. http://www.thai-or.com/ It looks like they are only open mornings, Monday-Thursday.

 

I sent my passport and latest application for a tourist visa to them last month. My package reached them on 24 November. I received my passport back via express mail, complete with new visa, on 26 November.

 

According to their web site, they will do triple entry tourist visas. They can't issue retirement visas; you have to deal with Los Angeles or another regular consulate for that.

I went in last month and got a 60-day double entry tourist visa in about 20 minutes for $40. Very easy and painless and yes, she will give you a triple entry which is an extra $20.
