I am thinking of shipping someone down from Surin to Pattaya for a few nights but before I make the offer I am interested in knowing the journey duration, time and cost by bus/coach/minivan. I would hope for a dawn arrival if possible to avoid any changeover clashes? Any ideas anyone? Has anyone any experience of this journey?

Google is your friend. There are quite a few buses that run between Surin and Pattaya, cost probably around 500 Baht and the trip takes around 8 hours.
