You should be aware that most carriers will either increase their prices or severely restrict the cheapest tickets during the high season on the mid/far east routes.  The high season will normally start for outward travel after sometime between 1-15 July depending on the carrier.

 

If you are flying from Scotland then, China Airlines through Amsterdam generally afford the cheapest option.  Personally, I would wait and see what prices Emirates will offering from Glasgow.

That is a really good price as it is EVAs  Shoulder season dates; 14 June - 14 August. Cheapest price around then is normally at least 510 pounds plus airport tax.

GBP476 is only priced up to 14 June with Airline Network, thereafter the cheapest is, as you say,  GBP557 up to 15 Aug.
