Important - Keep Your Boarding Passes

Recommended Posts

I've just flown into Don Muang airport & you have to present your boarding pass stub to the person at Immigration . Luckily I had kept mine , thanks to an earlier warning on this board - thanks to whoever that was . Some passengers had lost or dumped theirs & they were led off by a immigration officer for further 'processing' [smiley=hithead.gif] . So be warned !

Thanks for the "heads up" on immigration and boarding passes. I always save my boarding passes untill I get home to make sure my frequent flyer miles are posted to my account. I've had to send my stubs off to the airline to get credit. No hassle as long as you have the stub.

Thanks for the reminder Derek. I posted the original message some time ago after seeing this reported on another board but had forgotten about it.

It seems that the reason for having to present your boarding pass is to ensure that you really have just entered the country.  ??? ??? ???

I suppose it is all to do with ensuring that when your visa expires you really do LEAVE Thailand.

I remember reading about this some time back, so I was prepared when I arrived Sept. 17.  I was not asked for it.

Must of been because of my baby blue eyes.
