Another glorious failure by a British (at the moment) team in the Quali' rounds last night. Scotland's finest, Celtic, lost 1-0 to a team called Lincoln Red Imps from Gibraltar! They are, quite literally akin to a reasonable pub or social club side back in the UK. We used to have visiting rag-tag ship's teams beat them on occasions when visiting Gib a few years ago, although they have obviously improved slightly since then.

To think that Celtic's new manager, Brendan Rodgers, was being weighed up as an England possibility a week or so ago, beggars belief!

I wonder how much support there will be from Gibraltar for next week's return leg. The whole of the rock's population could be accommodated at Celtic Park / Parkhead, without exceeding the visitor's allowance!
