The last time I flew to LOS on Thai Air, it was a direct flight, however on the stop in Narita they made us depart the plane.  Those of us continuing to Bangkok were directed in a path through the terminal and through security to the gate where others were waiting to board.  When it came time to board, we were boarded first.
