United HNL-BKK

Seems that United is in the price war.  There is a $589  coach fare, NO Upgrades from that fare.   I got a $724 upgradeable starting in September.  Remember when it was a 747 HNL NRT and 777 NRT to BKK...shifted to 777 both legs and starting in Sept its 777 of of HNL and 747 out of NRT.. Why I like that is the NRT BKK was always more tight for upgrades, now no  problem.   Got all upgrades confirmend for and October trip. Wide open!  

A very important  aspect of the NRT BKK upgrade with United is they deplane by class. First out the front, Business out the second door while coach waits to use the same door. First goes on the first only  bus, ususally no gate for that arrival, and Business busses as filled with coach following.

I usually sneak into First  as we get off  to catch the first bus and clear passport control, get my priority tagged bags and off I go.  The hotel driver is waiting as I round the corner from customs form drop off and I'm in town under and hour from arrival...Having cleaned up in NRT I have my bags sent to the room.  Just make sure the BF will shower with me!  Been Naked with a BG before 23:30 on a number of tours!

Not bad for a Kanaka  from Wailua who just fell of a Pineapple Truck.
