Deluxe Room, Dynasty Inn Pattaya

Recommended Posts

Hi all, looking forward to my return trip to Pattaya in June. :)

I have booked a week in the new Dynasty Inn Pattaya, and was offered a Deluxe room for 1200 bt/night w/o breakfast.

Has anyone stayed in these rooms, and would you say it is worth paying the extra over a superior room (950 bt) ?

bongojonga, their web site (www.dynastyinn.com) doesn't mention a deluxe room...maybe it's just a room at the top with a view? I don't know. You could email them and ask what the difference is at downtown@dynastyinn.com

Hi

It was less than 1000 Baht. no it was an ordinary room I think. The room was good and so was the hotel but the lack of sun on the balcony and no view was what I did not like. It depends what you want from a room. Have a good time.

I know I am in the minority here, but I stayed one night at the Dynasty in BKK and found it very depressing. Small dark rooms just make me feel bad. If the rooms at the Dynasty in Pattaya are the same, I would suggest trying somewhere else. Even the pics of the rooms on the site don't look so great. Why not check out the Flipper on soi 8 or Sandy Spring on soi 13.

My 2 cents...

I agree that the DI rooms look dark (primarily due to the wood paneling). Both the DI BKK and DI Pattaya are in this style. A painted white wall would give the room a larger brighter look. IMHO this is really only obvious at night - During the day the sunlight keeps the room bright.

All this said - I like the DI (BKK and Pattaya) for their location, staff, rooms, and free transportation to Pattaya. The Pattaya hotels (Inn and Resort) both look brand new (one is ). Here is a pic from the DI Pattaya:
