Your best bet to get a 'break' is to try the white middle class backpacker / full moon party lot........ and you won't find them on this board! Thai clubs / Disco's probably won't be that interested, but still worth a try. OK here's what i have been offered so far staying for 2 months in PTY end of jan to the end of march........ Novapark deluxe one bedroom is baht 18000 per month + cleaning electric, water & cleaning Nong Apt (soi yensabai standard apt ie big studio) 17,000 per month + cleaning electric, water & cleaning Yensabai (seaview 8 floor studio) 16,000 per month inc maid once a week, inc laundry What's ya thoughts? Anyone know of any better deals? H

Dynasty....What a pit of a room they tried to give me first, a view of a air con unit and a real bad smell in the room [smiley=puke.gif] Make sure you check out the room first!! Some are ok.......some are NOT!! H

BUT Everytime i stay there......someone nearby has the f$$king builders in.......... If i'm in my room i WANT peace & quite!! Anybody got any suggestions for a place in Pattaya?? Websites ???? H

If your feeling tight you can get in to a bahtbus at the corner of south pattaya rd & 2nd rd and wait for it to fill up, just make sure its going toward Jotmien, the driver will hassle you to give him 50/60 baht so YOU hire the bus.....depends if you horny too mutt LOL H

VC hotel is full of Arabs & Chinese........Why not try a drop of condo experiance, Yensabai is only a short stroll down Soi VC (17)......if you can handle the walk past Sunee Plaza yes YOU are hansome to a BB !! LOL H

I might be buying a condo in or near to PTY within the next 9 months.............i can't stand paying tax to the uk govement and i and in the posistion to go 'non resident of the uk' PTY looks like a good bet...............anyone have advice / experiances on buying a condo? I would be looking to stay around 6 months of the year in LOS and work the rest back in the UK, yes i could be a real lucky SOB!! ;D H

Yes stayed there only last month, good value, great 'english' breakfast if you can get up b4 11am, english owner. It takes about 3mins by baht bus to get to the soi that cuts on to walking st just by the FLB and 2 mins to walk the rest of the way if you don't get distracted!!
