I purchased my ticket with Singapore Airlines a couple of months ago for a Melbourne to Bkk return via Singapore. Its about $200 more now. Fuel surcharges and fucking government taxes make a big difference as well.

A mate of mine stayed at the Hard Rock a couple of years ago so this info may be a bit out of date, but he told me they had a joiners fee of 800bht.

I'm another newby who will be over there in a few months. Am planning to buy a load of my clothes over there. Was wondering what the avilability was of the larger sizes as i'm nae what you would class as small. Had a problem with that last year in Vietnam where Vietnamese XXXL was the equivalent of an Aussie medium!!!! They don't breed em very big over there. Shuggy

I booked through them last year for a non-mongering holiday in Koh Samui. They were the cheapest by far and we had no problems. If you don't want to book over the internet they provide a phone number you can use instead. Shuggy

I have used http://www.atsiam.com/ to book stuff in other parts of Thailand before and they were the cheapest by far. I'm thinking of staying at Areca Lodge in Pats later in the year and this site has the cheapest prices i've been able to find. Shuggy
