Now then you lucky first timers ! Yes it will be hot.But it is not a burning heat,more humid than anything else.I am 18 stone and I manage it.Of course you will sweat and the odd day will be unbearable.When it is just walk into an aircon building and the sensation is almost like an orgasm !!!!! Go and have the time of your lives.If your gear is not suitable there are 1000's of stalls to buy cool,light t-shirts and shorts.Water is free in the mini-bars and an extra 2 litres will cost 10b. Don't worry.you will wonder what the heat stress was all about once you have been there a day or two.

Hi Magy. Brummie here too.Have stayed in the pig and whistle on soi 7.Cheap and cheerful,only downside is no pool.Still managed to go diving though If you get time pop into Pimms bar in soi Honey.Owner is a dummy brummie blue nose named Paul.We were there one year and he flew home for a wedding.On his return the whole bar was re-decorated in Villa tops,shorts,scalves etc. Have a good one.

Thanks mate. The info I am working on historically is that it is only possible to fly to Cambodia from BKK? Don't really want the hassle of trecking back to Don Muang if U-TAPAO has the option of flying there now ?

I manage three trips a year by being frugal. 1) I always walk to LOS,straight away I have saved £500 2) I always stay in a broom cupboard in one of the expensive hotels,always have some blue cotton overalls just in case.These cupboards are bigger than standard rooms in Hoiney Inn. 3) Always play connect four with my bar girl for money,my wife stands 3ft behind the bg telling me my next move. 4) Always drink the sea water.It has done me no harm! 5) Don't waste money on toilet roll,just shit yourself in the sea. 6) Always tag along with a drunk-he will love you for spending his mony. 7) And finally...................when presented with a bill for ANYTHING just It works for them !!

Need some help.Looking to fly Pattaya to Cambodia at the end of July.Wikitravel state that PMT Airways ( not a wind up ! ) fly daily,started in Nov 2005. Been on their web site and they have Nov 2005 and 2006 as starting dates.Tried the official U-TAPAO website and well.............. Any of you twelve honest and true chaps got the answer ? Dates are flexible but looking around July 28,return 31st.
