i was there last may, and i booked for 3 weeks starting august 29 ; i already left a 2000 baht deposit for the booking.

i will be there from august 29 to september 19, at 1500 baht perday for a upper pool side room ; the location is great : not far from soi buakhao, not far from beach road, Carrefour and Tops are within some minutes.

no, no balcony ; i confirm this is a nice guesthouse ; i stayed there many times.

very nice place, with nice rooms and swimming-pool ; good location ; very friendly staff ; between 1300 and 1500 baht per day : depending of the room situation.

the "construction every day from 10am to 7pm" => it was the construction of the new big room behind the reception desk ; and the construction also of a bigger office ; i was staying at room 102 at that time, and it did not bother me.

these safes are behind the reception desk ; i think u can put ur small laptop inside ; i stayed at Seaside GH many times, and last time was september ; i never ever had a problem with the safe ; when i was there last time, they were building a new room ; it will be a very big room behind the recption area ; the price will be 900 baht for low season, and 1200 baht for high season ; i already booked that very big room for Happy New Year period.

no, there is no in-room safe ; the safes are behind the reception desk and can be opened 24h/24 (one key for u and one master-key at the desk)

very girl(s) friendly ! its a real nice place ; i stayed there on my last two trips ; nice rooms, with a big bed, and fridge + tv ; wifi available ; main entrance on soi 3, but on daytime, u can use the backdoor to soi 2 ; tourist agency (just opened in january) near the reception desk ; payment only in cash (no credit card) ; laundry with good service next door ; 3 minutes from Big C and soi 2 bars and massages ; 30 seconds from Welkomm Inn ; i recommand that place !

ive stayed there during my two last trips (february and june) ; no problems on the first stay = nice room number B2 near a small and nice garden ; nice people at the reception (they dont get email, so i had to call them) ; but on my second stay at De La Mer last june, 3 days before my plane back to France, i decided to take my thai GF for a short trip to Koh Samet (2 days and 1 night) ; i said it to the reception girl ; and i let an old mobile phone in my room (a second "old" one i usually take with me in Thailand in case of problem with the first one) ; i am sure the phone was there the mor
