Thanks for that Map mate Talking to our entrepid leader there MAY just be another Hairloss tour to the Darkside in March if all goes to plan Have fun guys We also went to Dao Cafe,Sammys by the lake (slightley lost at this stage ).Black Pearl2,Butterfly farm,Paradise and then Nois for a great irish stew.Met at Cherry 2 at noon and back to Patts 10pm and what a day All the best Bruiser

I myself dont really know 3rd rd ,but last trip after checking out Tonies Gym Noticed a sports bar. Its the Boxing Roo Bar owned by 2 Aussies, met one of them Greg from Newcastle.He was a very friendley guy and knows heaps re area.Its a very large open air bar with all sports you could want to watch (Had Wallabies Vs Sprinboks when i was there but we shant discuss that game ).And yes there was a large number of very friendley non hasle girls there.I certainly will be going back next trip for sure.I dont know exact address but I walked straight up soi from LK Metro to 3rd rd Gym is accross rd and Roo Bar to left about 50m to 70m.IMHO well worth a try Bruiser

Well said As I stated earlier Mulphys review I believe re the area is 100% accurate So come on Mr Mango cheer up a bit , take your medication and have your first SMILE for a while And drop on down to the friendley L.K. neighbourhood give it a chance like all the rest of us did and Enjoy All the best Bruiser

Well my personell opinion, Alexs review is 100% CORRECT (okay maybe walking times may be a bit optermistic to non Olimpic Walkers ). I remember The "Lk Metro New small Walking st thread" and replys it gained So I went and had a look for myself (and mates with me) and we really enjoyed the whole atmosphere of the area (Yes I now count Mulphy as a good Patts friend)And love spending time at his bar and other in area. I think Mulphy has given a VERY fair review of area and yes it seems to be changing for the better every time I have been there(last trip Aug/Sep 2008).One thing I really like that gave the place a great casual feel is No traffic after certain time in afternoon (fantastic Idea).So you can mingle or have a cigerette outside bars and take in the friendly laid back atmosphere of the area.No its not walking street but I dont go there for that in your face atmosphere.For that i tend to go to Walking st, funny enough. Oh yeah and by the way I find it very very easy to get to any area in Patts from LK.Geuss I must be a lucky man as well as a Hansum one All the best Bruiser

Photos and party looks great I really enjoy the LK area and spend some time there (alexs rockhouse,dennis lk apartment and food from area always great). Will deffinetley drop by to your bar on trip in March . All the best for Xmas Bruiser

Cograts Adam great to here the origanal cherry is reserecting herself I am counting the days for my annual Aug trip to re-aqaint myself with CHERRY1 and meet Cherry 2 and all the staff. Off course not forgetting the Human Teddy Bear Himself Bringing to old friends of yours back Hendo and steve who you helped to corrupt last August . And 2 new recruits origanally from the old Dart(Newcastle lads , Sound as a Pound as you blokes say). so bring on the Cherry fun . Have to do a CHERRY Night Start at 2 then to 1 , Who knows you may even drag us of to parts unknown like last year (god knows where you took us mate).
