  1. Hi Vanilla ! I`m back at the Chin House in Dec ;D ;D
  2. Vanilla, 3000 was the price for the 1 bedroom suite. I think the 2 bedroom is about 4500. And yes, she is my girlfriend from norway so for me she is always included :) as OJ says, for better for worse.... Mats
  3. The Chin house is locaded on Soi sala dang 1. Which is very close to Silom, Sathorn road etc,. Patpong for you mongers At check in in I was upgraded from a 1 bedroom suite to a 2 bedroom suite which is about 85 sgm. Rate for the 1 bedroom is 3000 Bath a night. There is 1 very nice kitchen area which is fully equipted. 2 big bedrooms, where one of them are 2 single beds put together. The also have a VCD/ CD player in the living room. Every bedroom as their own bathroom. Have a look at the pics. Mats
  4. Turbo, thanks for the update. I`m staying there this x-mas and looking forward to it. The rooms sounds great, as I understand you the jacuzzi is IN the bedroom right ?! [smiley=grin.gif] and not not in the bathroom... Mats
  5. Just got a reply from them. Seems like this is the email adr they use : timbarbeer@hotmail.com .M
  6. If someone is in contact with this tim beer bar, please let them know that their email box has maxed it`s quota...
  7. Martin, I think you got a good deal with Thai air on those dates for 8000,- Im suprised you even got a seat on those dates. See you in dec ;D .M
  8. Search around this section and you will find lots of reviews and info about the recidence garden. Yes, they are guest friendly.
  9. I'm going to answer a question you did ask... No, having a baby with a thai national does not give you any rights to stay in thailand.
  10. LOL, good luck Bob, you`ll be making som tam and pad ga pao before you know it ;D
  11. Gabor is right. If you can`t be bothered with making the liquid yourself, just do what I did before my thai girl moved in with me. Go to your local thai restaurant and have them make you a bottle with this stuff and say you`ll pick it up later / the next day. Most places will do that and you can be sure that it will be good. Just taste it first M
  12. Mandarin, It`s locaded just across the street from Patpong, so location vise it`s good....BUT There is a 600 Bath joiner fee ( unless you book a DBL room ). Pink / light blue wall to wall carpet in the rooms ( not very nice IMHO ). The hotel has a karaoke, but no tg`s last time I was there. The rate at this hotel has dropped like a stone from thin air in the last few years and is now about 700-800 Bath I think. I would stay away from this place and shop around for another one.
  13. www.searchtheinternet.com really, check out this bangkokchat.org used to the more famous .com but changed a few months ago... Lots of funny girls here you can also check out http://www.sanook.com/ then you have the pay sites as date.com etc, but not worth the cash in my opinion Mats
  14. Ï suggest you put the post back into the Newbies' Corner.... Mats

  17. If you plan of travelling to Thailand in Aug / Sep Thai Airways offers a good deal from Oslo. The price is 5500 NOK + tax ( about 300NOK ) which includes t/r Bangkok and one night accomendation in Bangkok. The price also includes transfer from the airport to the hotel ( private car ). The ticket is valid for 1 month. You also have to buy the ticket 14 days in advance. If you fail to book 14 days in advance, the cost will be about 1000NOK more. This ticket gives you a 50% discount on most domestic flights aswell as destinations as Hong Kong, Manila, Saigon, PP,Singapore +++ Remem
  18. Hi Partyanimal, My reason for staying at the Nana is of course location and atmosphere ;D Sorry, don`t know about their safe system ( I stayed at a another hotel and keep my stuff there and just used the Grand Inn as my private st place ) I can`t remember seeing that the rooms had any terrace, my room window faced a brick wall... I would email them and ask about this. Sorry that I couldn`t be of any more help. have a nice trip ;D Mats
  19. Stayed there last month and the rooms are slightly better then the Nana hotel. Very small hotel, but nice.No questions about guests either. I would stay there agian, but only if the Nana or Dynasty is fully booked. Think I paid about 1000 for the room.
  20. LOL, not sure if that was a joke or not but I`m talking about Liverpool FC.
  21. Tom, In Norway, TG has actully increased their prices and added rules that are alot more strict then earlier As far as I know the prices TG are offering at the moment is NOT an effect on the SARS / Iraq thing... Their 21 april- 12 June offer is "standard" for each year. PS. This offer is back on agian 12 August - 2 October ;D I agree with you on choosing TG over BR when TG is offering their reduced prices... But once their campain is over, EVA`s reduced price in Evergreen is one of the best offers on the marked. Almost equal to TG economy prices... take away the prices TG i
  22. Hey C Tom, Have you seen the new prices EVA has just relased ? Their economy tickets have gone up 15 % while their Evergreen tickets have dropped about 10%. This makes the difference between U class and V class only a few bucks ;D
  23. you might have to pay a bit more, as KLM /NW on March 1 added a 10 USD price increase on each leg you take because of the increased price in fuel...
  24. Andy, I`ll be in Pattaya at that time ! See ya at the FLB for a beer or 2. Mats
