Hi, I`ve wrote aobut this hotel earlier but thought I should give it another review. Chin House is locaded on Soi Sala Daeng 1. It`s about a 5 minut walk to the Sala Daeng Skytrain station aswell as the new Subway station ( which I found to be great !!! ) The rooms are very spacious ( my suite is 56 sqm ) and are very new and clean. All suites have their own kitchen with all the works. Don`t worry about the dishes, the maid will do them Wall to roof windows with a great view of the city aswell. They ofcourse have cable tv, stereo, in room safety box, seperate air con units

Walkabout Hotel Review This hotel is locaded in downtown Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The hotel has it`s own restaurant and bar which is open 24 / 7. They have 3 or 4 tv`s in the bar, showing all major sports events ( at least thoose found in Cambodian cable ). Let me just say this at once, the bar is filled with girls at any point during the day / night. At night the place really reminded me about how JP`s bar in Pattaya is at 4am. Crowded with girls and punters. The booze is cheap. 1 USD for a beer is a good deal. The girls where a nice mix between the viets and their khemer si

SAS is a very nice choice for us Scandis, but don`t know why you choose to mention the lounge in Stockholm as SAS doesn`t fly to Bangkok from there But yes, it`s a very nice lounge Mats

mats replied to sinkorswim's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Hey sinkorswim ie all, Here is my report on the place. From July this year. Forget about the small room guys, it`s just that... Really small and the toilet is extremely narrow + the room does not have any window. In the reception area they have an 24 hour ADSL internet shop at 1 bath a minut ( minmum 10 bath ) and the connection is great. Works out great when you stagger home at 0500 drunk as a skund and decided that you want to post some shit on the net There is also a foot massage parlour connected to the hotel but as I never got the chance to use that service I can`t com -

Stayed there a few times, but if you`re looking for someplace nice to stay I wouldn`t recommend the place at all. Rooms are small, no in room safe, but the location is just superb ! Smack right in the middle of walking street. Here is a pic of the place. Mats

Bazza, 1. No, not at all. There are some beer bars around the corner which sometimes can get a bit noisy when they crack the stereo up. But I never had a problem with it and they only play music from 8pm - 2 am, a time Im usually not in the room anyway. 2. Absolutely nothing Cheers Mats

Really small and the toilet is extremely narrow + the room does not have any window. In the reception area they have an 24 hour ADSL internet shop at 1 bath a minut ( minmum 1

Partyanimal, "Do you guys think it's more important to upgrade on the flight over or the return flight? " I always upgrade on the return leg, at least there is something to look forward to on your way back home Going to los I could be sitting in cargo for all I care, Im just too excided to get to los to care about business or economy seat... Mats
-
Hi Partyanimal, I don`t know the answer to all of your questions, but this is what I know : Yes, you can use your China miles on a Delta flight. 20 K is for a one way upgrade so 40 K would get you a roundtrip upgrade. As for using your miles for an upgrade at the airport, usually not a problem as long as it "just" dynasty class you`re upgrading to, but with business class it can be more difficult due to food ( or lack of food ) etc. As far as I remember, in Dynasty class you get economy food so that shouldn`t be a problem. But ofcourse, they are in their full right to decline yo
