I love the Clash. This is such a great album and arguably their best. It was their biggest seller and went double platinum in the US. The lyrics of this track are brilliant. Some of them are about the abandonment of children that were fathered by American soldiers during the Vietnam war. Like many of their lyrics, it's also about injustice - unemployment in England as a result of declining industries and the alienation of non English speaking immigrants in British society.
