  1. Im staying at the Areca at the moment. The noisy building work seems to have finished but the new wing looks far from complete. Its 1300 baht a night which is expensive as the town is quiet and most hotels have offers on ( saw one guest house yesterday at 400, most are about 750-850) As ive said on here before, the Areca is getting a bit grubby; the rooms could do with a lick of paint and new towels, tiles in bathroom need cleaning, the rear swimming pool still has tiles missing from the bottom and the loungers and sun shades are tatty.   4. I can't seem to get a flight to BKK from Manchester in July for less than £600. All the other airlines, Emirates, Qatar etc are selling flights from as little as £350 I have a certain amount of loyalty to Etihad but am not prepared to pay an extra 300 sheets just because they allow me to use their executive lounge. I cant understand why Etihad as so expensive as normally they are the most competetive. Any ideas/advice
  5. Hi I can't seem to get a flight to BKK from Manchester in February for less than £650. I usually pay £500-£550 but at the moment there is no fluctuating. I understand that Ethad are honouring the tickets of passengers not able to go due to the recent seige so at the moment prices are high. Any ideas/advice cheers
