Hey Pat, Fly with Singapore all the time from Australia...excellent airline...never have a problem...good in flight service...and their fares are cheap. As for Singapore...only in transit...some good duty free in the terminal...purchased a memory card for my digital camera...AUD$95 same card in Australia AUD$140.

Hey Turbo, I think BigD meant Pantip Plaza on Petchabburi Rd...any taxi driver will be able to get you there...Skytrain to Ratchathewi Station but its about a 10 minute walk. From memory what you're looking the ticket price was about baht12500 - 13,000.

Beware.....When I arrived on 3 November all the ATM's were down and upon inquiring was told that they had been down for a couple of hours....

Try Second Rd 30-50 metres up from South Pattaya Rd...there is a software shop...go thru the shop...out the back door...across the alley is a blue door (no signs)...plenty of software, DVD's etc...

Hey PaulC, No PaulC, I don't have an issue with Anic only what was posted. I may have responded in a harsh manner and for that I apologise to Anic....Sorry Anic.....but I do find it incomprehensible that anyone could believe that . . According to Islam (as quoted by a cleric Abdul el Raghead...didn't catch his real name on a T.V interview here in Australia the other night) If a non-muslim attacks Islam than they have "rules to deal with the attackers" (i.e. eliminate them). Islam also has rules for "attackers" within the faith which basically has the same result. This religious practise was raised in a recent court case here in Oz when a number of Lebonese Muslims were charged and convicted of a number of gang rapes against white Australian girls. The accused stated that if they raped their own and were caught their faith demanded their elimination so it was easier to rape "white trash". So religion isn't a problem!! ??? Having said that, Anic was probable right if you look at the word religion by itself but you can't!!! Religion encompasses beliefs, practises, traditions and rituals. Hey Steveuk, The guys are right. Same thing happened to me last trip...I refuse to accept the tickets as on a previous trip a mate whose ticketed name was incorrectly spelt had to wait about six hours in immigaration before new ticket arrived. Any corresponence from your T/A is useless. Demand a new ticket. Ronnie
