It's exactly the same look and colour schemes as Pattayalive (when you select their regular blue skin there). Far too easy to log into the wrong forum and call the wrong person a wanker, thinking that you are on the other board.... Also, the 'upgrade' could have been a great opportunity to lose a few undesirables who just didn't happen to make it across as part of the migration. It's the age old fall back....if somebody criticises a bar then all you need to claim is that they haven't been there. I suppose Papillon, Cheshire Tom and others who have criticised the bar haven't been there either, eh? Also, why should I want to 'afford' Misty's. Why should I want to pay 40% more for a bottle of beer during the happy hour at Misty's than I could get elsewhere (65 baht at Catz for example compared to 90 baht at Misty's) As Papillon asked many posts ago, what makes Misty's so special why we should pay a 40% premium on our beer to go there. The punters don't see

Incredible but true...the price that you pay for a beer during Misty's happy hour will be more than for the same beer purchased at Catz's...even when it isn't happy hour. If you compare just on happy hour prices only?...then a bottle of beer is 25 baht cheaper at Catz compared to Mistys (65 baht compared to 90 baht). Here's, Misty's attempt to save you money: ....compared to Catz's far, far better effort! Yes, I know what you're thinking......It's a no brainer!

Why hasn't anyone mentioned the RH? Isn't that on Soi LK Metro? I have never stayed there so I don't know whether you have to go through the bar to get to the rooms. You probably would have a good reason to avoid going through the bar there though....apparently the bar girls there don't smile

Well, I was only stating what I had observed at Musty's which seemed to be similar to what Papillon, Cheshire Tom, Peterterb, etc, etc, also found.

Service, fun and experience???...Strange but that is not what Peterterb though in his trip report...or maybe he is also another dole queueing, benefit-scrounger just like the rest of us....

An insignificant 10% discount is being offered and then only to so called VIP's who are in effect 'mates' of the bar manager If people are not impressed by the measly 10% discount then they must be social-benefits scroungers? Can't fault you for logic!

Don't know Tom, but it seems that several people have somehow 'agreed' amongst themselves to provide very similar comments about their experiences at Misty's - e.g. to keep telling everyone that the place is always empty. Peterterb on his recent trip report is another culprit for example...

Paul, I don't think anyone has got an 'agenda' against the bar. It's just that you get all these regular promotions and self-hyping every couple of months or so...as a result people rush over there as soon as they are back in Pattaya for their hols. But when they do go in, every one seems to be making exactly the same observation almost without exception ...that the place is pretty much next to deserted whenever they happen to visit. I am not saying that this is a bad thing...not every one enjoys going to busy bars.
