They have 4 settings. The settings for rice and stews etc are not the same.Everyone was talking about a standard rice cooker that have on off button. You only have to google it to see its not the same. I have a rice cooker that has settings for porridge and brown rice but its not a slow cooker and i wouldnt trust cooking meat in it.Up to you if you want to. I wouldnt want to spend money on something if i dont have to but as they are not the same i think i will have to. Basically if you have a slow cooker function on your rice cooker then yes.If not then no.

Mr Kicker, are you sure it simmers all day?I thought it just stayed warm. Not the same is it?
-
I have had an eletronic rice, porridge, cooker for 7 years. If i thought they were the same i wouldnt be asking about slow cookers.

I had to kill a couple of snakes in my garden last year.I didnt want to but my mrs was hysterical as she is terrified of snakes. I have seen about 8 or 9 over the last few years in my garden and just let them slither on their way. -
Is the baggage drop separate to the check in desk and if so where is it?Are there still a lot of people queing there or is it quicker than queing at check-in?Would i need to queue at check in and then again in baggage drop. Thanks

I closed my garden gate last year and there was a big green snake hanging off the front of it.I didnt see it till i turned round and it was about an inch from my face.We looked at each other and both fled. -

Yes, and its always women and 99% foreigners. When i speak to a bloke on the phone they are much more helpful. Seems the women have always got a superior attitude.

I rang Thai airways and a really unhelpful woman told me that all the back few rows with 2 seats by the windows were all booked already. Also i couldnt book an exit row seat at check in either.
-
Done that already.Got aisle seat which is o.k but was thinking that if the flight isnt full maybe at check in i could get some seats blocked and sit alone.Done it before but need to get to check in first.
-
Does anyone who has got to check in first know what time it opens. Travelling alone so want to get a good seat.
