You get a coupon for each drink purchased and they draw a winner, but...TIT Many specials for food, the place is clean and it has 5 or 6 TV's for sports viewing. I'm not sure actually, as I have been by there 2 or 3 times in the evenings and all I see are 2 motorbikes parked in the seating area. Who knows..?

I was walking by Big Horn the other week and it seems to have been out of business I did notice a sign in Thai with a phone number, so who knows what is going on I would think Beefeater was the final nail in the coffin for them, as that place seemed very busy

Fondles What Gary and myself are trying to point out, is that many people do have paperwork on the land. But it is not the registered deed of ownership. I assumed you knew of these situations and I will explain it better next time This is very confusing, until you run across the situation and actually see the difference in the paperwork Many think they "own" it and will build homes, farm and make a business out of it. Then the government comes along and takes it back. The intent has and always will be for the farmers who can't afford to buy their own land. But over the years of corruption , it has become a very big business for local politicians. My wife has a friend who pays each year to have her "fruit plantation" on land in Hua Hin. She is well off and should not be doing this. She also tried to convince us to invest in government land and my wife refused to even listen to the idea. People do sell it to others and some never check the documents. It's like renting a building and sub-leasing it 3 or 4 times. Then the owner shows up to take it all back and you are left without a thing.

Fondles... Key to this deal....they never owned the land (it was government land) They get paperwork done, but it is a different color (either red or blue, I can't remember) Most Thai's can spot this fake paperwork easily ( a wife is an expert at it)

Gary I ran into a deal last year for 2 rai from a German man , as his Thai wife had died... Oh, hell no, sure the price is good, but he never owned the land, how can he sell it...? She is dead...!

Very similar to when a Thai "owns" government land and then sells it to another. Then later, the government takes it all back (as they did) and you have nothing left but the paperwork So, you put it in "her" name (wife or GF) and play that risky game...no win situation it seems

Standing on the balcony, having a smoke as I see a motorbike pulling into the complex. I'm on the backside so it is just a place to park your bike for the night and go in. Many bikes there each night and this is a normal happening. As he is coming down the lane, he begins to lose control at a very slow rate of speed and falls off. The bike (110cc) is on top of him and it is a concern. He looks to be older (65+), but has a helmet on, so his head is protected. I rush down the stairs to notify security and see what I can do to help this man. Security is watching TV and I ask him to help me with this issue. Of course there is a language barrier, so I ask another farang to help me , "we have a man on the ground with a motorbike on top of him". He shrugs his shoulders like he doesn't care or understand and security is not following me on this. So out to the parking lot I go. I get out there and his Thai GF and her friends are there. We get the bike up and off of him and he is now laying on the ground. He doesn't appear to have any serious injuries, but this man is not coherent at all. Trying to speak to him is impossible as he seems to be 3/4 asleep. His Thai GF says he will be okay (she speaks good English) and we should let him rest here. But you can't rest in a public parking lot, maybe it is best to get him inside..? So after asking her 3 times and finally getting security off his arse, we carry him inside the building to the sofa. Now a reason for his mishap is starting to unfold. This guy "reeks" of alcohol and seems highly intoxicated. I ask his Thai GF if he is on any medication (capsules) and she shakes her head "no". So it really looks like he may have passed out on the final lap home. I just can't see anything else, as this guy is way out in "never-never" land at this moment. I just don't understand why someone would get on a motorbike in this condition. The man is old enough to understand the consequences of this bad decision and putting others at risk is stupid. Funny thing is...I never got a "thank you" from anyone for helping, but what do you expect ...?

Finding a good pizza is an issue in Pattaya I'll D2D one soon from here. Also the burger does look very good. I usually go to Carl's Jr in the mall, as most other places are terrible I'll give this one a try soon also

The condo rental market is saturated at the moment, many rooms available in the 8000-16,000 per month range. It took me 1 day to get a double room at VT1 for 14,000/month Good luck on the rental

Mom & Pop stores sell it during all business hours, but of course the price is higher (OMG maybe 20 Baht per liquor bottle) beer prices are about the same as 7-11 or a Supermarket

They made a bunch of changes in Aug 2014, when the Junta took over No Happy Hour....not enforced No "Freebies" (lets say you buy a bottle of JW Red and they give you 5 mixers free) ...not enforced No alcohol sold to anyone under 20...not enforced in BKK Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was....

Looking both ways at all times is just a good defensive practice in Thailand. I was turning left and before I did, I looked to the right and then to the left To see a old lady on a bike, going in the wrong fucking direction.... So, I guess the logic is, to ride your bike in violation of traffic laws and expect others to lookout for your lack of concern

Today, I was in a right turn lane (only) and I was passed by the guy behind me. So, he gets ahead of me, uses his brakes and makes a slow turn (as he talks on his phone) WTF..? Bangkok drivers have no common sense as of late...

I always liked that area and the room looks nice.... Thinking.....but married.....
