  1. Didn't we already establish that your experience is some twenty years out of date? Here is a video review of the first leg; It doesn't bear any resemblance to your totally out of date description. Likewise the nonsense you posted about getting a transit visa. Utter nonsense. The point of this deal is that you get to visit Beijing. Perhaps visit the Forbidden City, parts of the Great Wall etc. What on earth has Turkish Airlines to do with that? Best you stick to creating strange threads with random pricing no good to anyone. This is a cheap flight that throws in
  2. Hmmmmmm...... https://www.google.com/maps/place/City+Garden+Pattaya+Condominium/@12.926529,100.878017,16z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x8fb7edc9a539b648!8m2!3d12.926529!4d100.878017?hl=en-US
  3. I'm guessing you won't need one. But check in case someone travelling with you is from a country that may need one. Thai partner for instance. https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/free-72hour/faq.htm https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/free-transit-24hour.htm
  4. No need to be a Negative Nelly. If it's not for you, it's not for you. Someone else may choose to take the opportunity for a day in Beijing. It will be warm/hot in June. https://www.lonelyplanet.com/china/beijing
  5. Under £300 fares back again. In time for Songkran. Though with a long stopover on the way back Various dates available throughout April, May & June. Example:
  6. They call them 1 BR, but at 29 sq.m. I don't agree. Not a big fan of those shoebox apartments. Though I'm sure perfectly ok for a few days in Funtown and ok for 1600 baht per night.
  7. Thanks for the feedback. All of the options are relatively good value, if available.
  8. They wouldn't be my first choice, with angle flat seats. Instead of 180 degree flat bed seats, I think they have 160 degree angle flat seats. You can do BA for £1190, but you'll need a positioning flight to AMS, only to fly back to London in order to fly direct from there. On the way back it is a direct flight to London. At least they have fully flat beds. But they are behind the times. Final option is Qatar via VCE for £1100, but then you would need to purchase LON -VCE return. They will have the best product. But date availability with short stopovers is scarce.
  9. ?? He wrote; That looks quite clear to me. Perhaps it is the last line that confused; So that area, inclusive of Soi 15, 2nd Road.
  10. What makes you state that? He already named this preference; http://globaltopgroup.com/property/pattaya-condo-for-rent-pattaya/en From what I understand, the problem for him is the price. So he should have stated his budget. Otherwise, what's the point?
  11. This is not necessarily so. They may just pass on the Mastercard rate, which is currently 43.8769..and make their money from the 6% commission. Waste of time when you can do a cash advance with a CC within a bank. So it must be aimed at debit cards. But that is a very poor deal, as you can simply utilise an ATM if the minimum cash advance is 5000 baht. That means a minimum commission of 300 baht. An ATM would charge 150 to 220 baht, so why bother with the exchange booth's utterly useless 'service'? Amazing Thailand.
  12. Let us not neglect those who live in the middle of nowhere.
  13. Don't let it bother you. There will always be at least one know-it-all who posts negative sneering comments about a deal. Apparently if it is not good for them, then no one should have it. So continue to post whatever you find interesting.
  14. Is that English?? Yes, it is considered normal to use a Mastercard or Visa credit card to obtain cash advances over the counter. Of course if your credit card attaches fees to such a transaction it will be no good to you. Debit cards are often refused and in any case your banks usual charges will apply. If your bank charges nothing for using your debit card abroad, you can try TT Exchange for a cash advance with a debit or credit card.
  15. Are you still here? Why? Do you have something positive or interesting to contribute to this cheap flights thread.....or is this really all about you? No I don't read your posts, because I already know they won't provide any new or interesting information pertaining to cheap flights. I'm not interested in reading about your personal foibles. I did catch that you complained that I linked to another thread..... Yes, I posted the same deal on that thread and someone there responded to it. That thread concerned LAX, whereas this thread states Asian cities. Duuuuuhh. It showed that someo
  16. http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/topic/67553-good-lax-bkk-fare/?do=findComment&comment=1188826 There is one for a start. I didn't expect that everyone on the board would jump on it. It's just an option. Allow me to remind you of the topic in question; Deal Alert: US Cities to Southeast Asia From $484 Round-Trip My post is on-topic. The people here must think you the complete idiot. They know no one is forced to take up any offer posted here. They can see clearly that you are just making an issue out of it as your little ego has been hurt, simply because I wondered out
  17. I read the first and last line. It looked like the kind of post where I should just skip to the end. If the flight doesn't suit your needs, why are you still posting?? You really need to see someone about your depression and your poor attitude. Nice combo you have there. Must really help you with the ladies. You are becoming increasingly bitter with each post. No one here cares about your increasingly negative outlook. The whole scenario has been created by your over-anxious and depressive mind. If perhaps you posted some links of people missing their connection on this
  18. Not really. This from 2007; http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/6310771.stm I think the latest push is just promotional material for FairFX
  19. You are funny. I don't recall anyone asking you if it was worth it for you. Interesting that you used the phrase egomaniac . I would use egocentric. The post isn't just for you. If it is not of interest to you, move along. Maybe it will suit someone else. What is compelling you to post your continued negative views? I am calm. So calm that I couldn't be bothered to read your long winded post. All you are doing is continuing project your negativity. Not at all interesting nor informative. Thank you for letting us know that you are overly anxious and inclined to negativi
  20. You can always engineer a longer stopover in Japan and pop out for sushi, if no visa is necessary.
  21. Now that is ironic. First you reply using upper case, shouting. Then your very next sentence is indicative of "an egomaniac who cannot take comments". So calm down, it wasn't that serious. I was simply stating that your reaction could have been more balanced, instead of projecting a negative outlook. For example; Good price, but concerned about the short stopover. As to your example of 31 minutes on the 19th, in fact was 49 minutes, since the corresponding NH815 left at 17.38. But hey, why let the truth get in the way of a negative outlook? My experience it that ther
  22. It is exactly the same itinerary as offered on the ANA website, booking direct.
  23. I chose the 55 minute connection, you can chose a longer one if you wish. Is there a high level of depression from where you hail? Just wondered, as your only comment was a negative one. A bit more of a positive outlook on life might help. Typically from Gate 31 to 54. They wouldn't offer a 55 minute transit if it were likely to cause an issue. They do know that you are transiting.
