  1. I love the position and we are are not WS people.
  2. Sounds like they are genuine to me?
  3. Pays to ask re hotels, we have all been there.
  4. I stayed there for a month. Rooms ok, good location for me. All Thaai staff left while I was there due to Indian ownwes being very bossy and generally unpleasant. I wouldn;t stay there again, I am like the Thais and find Indians arrogant.
  5. One gets the impression that it is a Thai woman is running show. But obviously I am wrong.
  6. Always fancied the ones next to Cetral.
  7. Just the Thai way of thinking. They seem to build these things, looking posh but coming to bits, but look good. Then from then on they let them run down, knock em down and start again, probably all built on corruption money.
  8. Typical LK furniture, looks posh and not that well made. Be nice to get some consistancy in priceing.
  9. Good work lads. Expose the buggers, it is the only way.
  10. By crikey Tee, you have expensive tastes.
  11. Hard luck old boy. I must say I was always vigilant when using those safes.
  12. Not much to say. I stayed for a week at the Capains Bar, you will seen it In Soi Honey. Very basic but adequate for 600. Called into Honey Inn, looked at room, I didn't like that the view from the balcony was a a wall. All brand new, so good kit. Walked down Soi and came upon the Boutque Hotell. Reptionist very nice Thai lady. Looked at room, much the same as Honey inn, same price 750. So decided to go for that, the room buy the way had a Soi view. I then discovered it is owned by Indians, in no time both receptionists had left, the Thais do not like Indians. I wouldn't stay there again, I am with the Thais. Met a chap who swore by the Marina house, a place just off Soi Buakau.
  13. The info given says, give it a miss, to me. I will stay with Honey Inn.
  14. This place is good. Stayed there on a number of occasions. Problem is it is in 3rd rd, which is a 8 min walk to soi Boakau. 10000 a month for a 3 month stay. http://www.maxxcentral.com/rent.html
  15. I think so, I note some of pics are not standard in all rooms, like a computer desk. Its opposite the Honey massage, which is for the rich.
  16. In the above I am referring to Soi Inn
  17. I was quoted in walk in,either 750 or 700 in Aug. It is brand new so rooms very nice, if bland, nice shower etc. The room I looked at the balcony view was of a wall. Soi 11 indeed
  18. You should get a room in this lot. http://www.hotels2thailand.com/pattaya-hotels/siam-sawasdee-hotel.asp
  19. Honey Inn was good, like I said it was cheap in Aug.
  20. At the time you require room you will pay a premium. I was offered a new room In Honey hotel for 700 baht in August. Captains bar was 600, but very basic.
  21. My point exactly. Hilton is less than that.
  22. I find most 5 star hotels wonderful.
