Last year july I was for a few days in Bangkok. Stayed in a low budget hotel somewhere near soi 6-7. Of course with a yummie girl. It was heavely raining and lightning. And, as so often happends in Bankok the power went down on several blocks, including my hotel. There was no powerbackup, no flashlights or candles.
