  1. If you have a new Bangkok number, begins with 09, the thaiprepaidcard.com web site isn't set up to recharge those yet. Not sure when. So if you are out shopping for a SIM card, might want to think about which number to get 08 or 09 if getting a Bangkok number. Might save some heartaches down the road.
  2. RG for sure. Two pools, quiet, on the Baht bus route, 10 minute walk to WS, 10 minute ride to Jomtien. They also have 2 bedroom rooms available. I believe all rooms have small fully stocked kitchens, a few pots and pans, dishes, ect. Free WiFi or it was in Sept.Oct 10 when I was there last. I will be there in a couple weeks again. You can connect to them from the forum.
  3. And this from a man that goes after anything. LOL First time is Patts a few weeks back. Rode on the back of one for a few times, then I was driving. The girl I was with had one and we used the heck out of it. I was skeptical at first, then realized it really isn't so bad. I loved it. The worst was driving in the rain with contacts in. Next time, renting one as soon as I get to town. Won't think twice.
  4. Up to you. I just had my first visit and used tap water to brush and cook with. I didn't have any issues.
  5. Not sure if this is the proper place to post this or not. My apologies if it is wrongly located. I saw the Topic that Mr T posted and listed an e-mail to reserve his services a while back. On my arrival at 7:40am today I saw a young looking gentleman holding my name on a sign. I walked up and we headed out. I didn't think too much about it as Mr T's posts stated his son, who knew English, was usually handling the e-mails. As we drive to Pattaya, I was asking just general stuff and then asked if he was the 'Mr T' or his son. He stated he works for him, helps out. If my memory serves me
  6. Mr. T, What are your prices to get from Suvarnabhumi airport to Pattaya? I will be going to Thailand for the first time in Sept and have not decided on which taxi service to use.
  7. Has anyone had dental work done in Pattaya? Did you like the work? And where did you have it done? Right now I am looking at doing the work I need at the hospital but would like to look at other places that can be recommended.
  8. The tennis racket looking ones rock. They can either be battery or plug-in rechargeable. It gives great satisfaction swinging it and hearing the night pop of a critter getting fried. If feeling a little warped, head out at night to a porch light or somewhere lots of flying bugs are swarming around and swing away. Great fun. They work great against flies, dragon flies, bees, mosquitoes, and any other flying beast big enough to make a connection between the two grids. Never tried the tongue as mentioned in a previous post. Looks like my shopping list keeps getting bigger and bigger.
