Grand Inn v Nana Hotel v Dynasty Inn Grande..???
hall replied to ZAMPA's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Probably you have booked already but if not Dynasty Inn Grande is far superior to Nana. Can't comment on Grand Inn - never stayed. Dynasty Inn Grande is brand new place, great rooms, great pool and totally guest friendly. -

Recommendation on Hotel at Singapore
hall replied to kraizii's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
If you have the time (and patience) log in to www.asiarooms.com singapore site. They have reviews of most of the hotels. Value for money, location etc. the Phoenix Hotel would probably suit you. Not on your list though !! Cheers Hall -
Bella Villa Prima v/s Sunshine Vista
hall replied to Rogueacronym's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
I was evaluating the same 2 hotels but chose Sunshine Vista because another BM posted this in a review.. Kinda put me off BVP. No top sheet on bed. Only a bottom sheet and a warm blanket/comforter that they said they changed and cleaned every second day. Bullshit! I cut my leg my third day and the small blood spots were still there a week later. Makes me wonder if I was using the same one the occupant before me used. I asked for a topsheet and even showed them how I wanted the bed made. They refused to do so. Cheers Hall -
Stayed at Sabai about 3 years ago so this is not exactly a current report about Sabai. The pool was great and I did not notice any external noise from Alcazar or anywhere else. However I stayed in Deluxe A or B (can't remember which) and the room was anything but Deluxe. Dirty/noisy dripping air conditioner/bath water was black/furnishings worn. This was 3 years ago so things may have changed. If you're not overly concerned about swimming pool size check out : BJ Holiday Lodge Sunshine Vista Bella Vista Prima Areca Lodge All around 1000 baht per night and all nearly newly buil

Same same. Quoted 1400 per night for two weeks stay in May. Emailed back and asked for off season rates-no reply. Booked elsewhere. Cheers Hall

Hi Paul. Be in Thailand early May. Arriving late at Don Muang. Around 2330. I guess through immigration and into arrival hall around midnight. Is this too late for Jan to make a pick up and go to Pattaya ? Thanks Hall.

Ambassador Royal Suites Bangkok
hall replied to wally_world's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Short review from another forum. "I just checked the Ambassador Royal Suite rooms. A different building than the Ambassador hotel (but adjacent), some meters of walking is required though. Rooms are equipped with old furniture, some rooms were very smelly. The price seems ok, but I would not recommend the rooms (imo the rooms in the nana/ grand president are better). " Cheers Hall -
101 reason why honey need to send me 10000 baht
hall replied to fruitti88's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
I had the usual "I'm sick, cannot work, only you can help" email about three weeks ago. But this one had a twist in that the Bank Account I was to send money to ;D was in the name of some thai guy ! She didn't have much chance of getting anything anyway (been there-done that) but not even her Bank Account -- geez !!!! ::) Cheers Hall -
In Bangkok: Omni Towers Evergreen Place Grand President All have in room electronic safe. Cheers Hall

Sandy Spring female guest policy
hall replied to Cumcannon's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
It appears Sandy Spring is very guest unfriendly . I'll stick with Sunshine Vista. In soi 3 but a baht bus to Walking street every 2 seconds !!! Absolutely no guest hassle. Full use of pool etc. 1 Cheers Hall -

Yes there is !! Did a search on Google. Hackology.com came up first go ! Having said that the instructions on how to get a password could only be understood by a computor genius. Sunshine Vista Serviced Apartments
hall replied to jimmac's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Hi guys, For the best rates negotiate with Sunshine Vista reservations direct at email: sunshinevista@yahoo.com You should have no trouble getting: Superior 1100 baht nett but not incl.bft Studio 1500 baht nett but not incl.bft These were the soft opening rates until 31st March but seem to have been "unofficially" extended by Sunshine Vista (direct) Reservations. Asia Travel who advertise 1320 and 1800 were not prepared to negotiate, so go direct. Cheers Hall
