What country are you currently domicoled fro tax purposes? If from the USA, which state (it does make a difference, especially if you reside in California) Does your country have a tax treaty with Thailand? If you live in Las Vegas you should look at SF as an exit, there are non stops and better flight options to HK and BKK whereas LAX is just out of range of a 747 for the fuel reserve.

You can sell them for about $300US per 30,000 miles (even though it is illegal). I am also a FF on Star Alliance. One RT with all the add-ons is one free US trip on United. Upgrades and lounges are a big bonus. The question on courier miles. Airlines used to give FF miles but dropped that about three years ago. I don't know of any airline that gives you FF miles for a courier run but there may be some.

The major problem I have with the board is finding the new messages, not the replies. Is it possible to list by first date, or put the date on the title, or have a chronological section where postings are listed latest first? Apart from that the board works OK.
