Emil is right, the Boeing 777 can make the trek from USA to BKK no problem. For whatever reason, however, a stop in Narita or Seoul, or Taipei etc. is the norm, which must be purely financial. Regards, Jimmy

It's amazing how the airlines like to fuck with the fares on a regular basis. I always travel on Northwest because i can leave from Milwaukee as opposed to going down to O'hare to catch a flight. For the past two months Northwest has had the ticket cost from here to BKK for $1434, certainly too mutt. So, I managed to get a freebie to San Francisco by using 25,000 of my miles, and then buying a ticket on Korea for $7oo from SFO-BKK and back. However, I needed to stay the night in San Fran, and then suffer a 9 hour layover in Inchon on the way home. However, this was, IMHO, better than spending $1434 . Then last week I'm surfing the NWA site, and I see the flight I usually take from MKE to BKK now selling for $797. So, I cancel my freebie, take a $100 whipping to cancel my Korean Air ticket, and I buy the NWA ticket for $797. It is a real pain in the ass having to do all this juggling, but you have to stay on the websites very regularly to see that you do not get fucked over by the air carriers. Regards, Jimmy

I will be there again in May from the 25 through the 29. This is one great hotel, clean, modern, great guest policy,a nd the TG's love it. I almost had a heart attack there shagging a pair of tarts together, but that was, of course, self-induced! he he All in all, the only place I will ever book on future trips. Justwasn't a problem Beach Boy, I wish that all hotels were as cool. I had a real problem at the Haven Hotel this trip, and while I was high on the place before, i simply would not, could not recommend anyone to book there. I loved this hotel. I was the one making all the noise whilst there so pologies to those punters I may havekept up. he he Very clean hotel, noproblem wit guests either. I was seen taking two tarts to my room late one evening, and no sooner did I get into the room with my guests, and there was a knock on the door. The desk employee said that I had to pay 300baht for the second guest. I told her no problem, just add it to my tab. A minute later the phone rang and the same lady said that because I was on the FLB special rate, that there would be no extra charge for guest number 2, and an apology was issued for any incomvenience she may have caused. I thought that was very classy. Unfortunately, the only inconvenience caused was on my behlf, because a man of my advanced age really has no business attempting to do two tilacs simultaneously, and those two tarts liked to have given me a heart attack. ha ha Regards, Jimmybb
