Cheap Charley guide to booking
Jimmybb replied to BigDUSA's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Tom, The Westin is still the Westin, located over Robinson's Department store. Last trip I got a rate of about $65 there using Priceline. This time I tried and could not get the room for this price. Jimmy -
I am told that the flight to PI will not only be packed full, but that there will be oodles of kids on the plane as well. That said, I think Soi 7 and I will be handing out Hershey Kisses to all the kiddies just so we can see how wired up we can get the little tykes on the flight. Ought to be pretty entertaining watching the children run from the cockpit to the tail section for a few hours. Rgds, Jimmy

Here we go again. Seems odd that a punter would lament the bird flu but would not think twice about putting his tongue in a BKK pole hanger's fanny.ha Just get on the plane and have a great time. Jimmy

The best way for me to get through the holidays is to have a trip already booked. Now the holidays can't come fast enough!!!!! Come on Santa, get those fucking reindeer hitched to the sled!!! Rgds, Jimmy

I am always amazed at the numbers of punters who piss on the Nana Hotel every chance they get. IMO, staying at the Nana even for one night is a right of passage for P4P guys, and I have had some great times in this hotel. I have pretty much moved on to other digs, but I always have a couple meals in the restaurant, even for checking out the tg that wander in and about the premises. For those who are about to make their first holiday in Bangers, it is a great place to stay after a long plane ride before moving on to Pattaya the next day. RGds, Jimmy

I flew China on my trip last month. They served something that looked like a cross between ground pork, and something akin to a very fatty pork steak. The guy sitting next to me was from Nepal and , by his own admission had been dirt poor as a child. That said, he flatly refused to put that into his mouth, and I did likewise. Had I consumed that entree, my greatest fear would be making a charge to the toilet should that thing claw its way out of me before the flight landed. There can be nothing more fearful than having a blowout in the cramped toilet of a 747.(just ask Soi 7) Rgds, Jimmy

The Hoov walks into the Nana like she owns the joint. Hell, that little ball of chutzpa has probably been in every room there. Rgds, Jimmy

I went to the Grace to check it out, and the tg there were almost as fat as the chicks here in Milwaukee. Yikes. James

Peter, I returned from Bangers last week after having sampled several cans of Tiger whilst there. Oddly enough, the price for this beverage at the numerous 7-11 mini-marts I frequented in Bangers was slightly more than Heineken, my beverage of choice whilst in LOS. I liked the taste of the brew, but would not be inclined to put Heineken on the back burner in favor of the feline beverage. Also, whilst I did not get into the NEP proper, and did not pay bar on any tg working the beer bars adjacent to this gogo-complex, I did notice a paucity of punters in and around the Nana. I worked the Beergarten on Soi 7 pretty good and had no problem securing ST for 1000. I rarely discuss money with a tg, but tend to focus on services rendered and I then pay in accordance with each tg performance. I did have one tg question my payment of 1000 for ST, but I told her that was what I always pay for Beergarten ST, and she seemed to be satisfied with my explanation and she rolled out of the room and not in a huff. I was very tired when I took this one and, admittedly, she had to work very hard before I could squirt, so maybe she was justified in her request for 1500. Dunno. Best Wishes, Jimmy

I book this hotel via priceline.com and got the room for about $65 (US). This hotel us located above the Robinson Department store on about Soi 17 and Sukhumvit. The staff are very accomodating and professional, and I was very happy with the room. The bed is especially soft and the bathroom has a separate shower stall that accomodates two very easily. There is a separate bathtub that would make a nice laison for two as well, although I did not venture into the tub on this stay. There is a very nice glass topped desk for those who, unfortunately, have to work whilst in Bangers. There is an internet hook-up in the room for you hard core internet junkies as well. Overall my tg and I loved the short stay here, and I would definitely book here again. For you information, I think this venue is NOT guest friendly but I cannot be certain as I had tg in tow and did not take the time to inquire as such. I would give this hotel a solid 8 out of 10, and if guest friendly, certainly a 9. Nice place. Rgds, Jimmy

Any one stayed at the Sandy Springs recently
Jimmybb replied to Agent007's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
This is an interesting thread...We start by inquiring about the noise on Soi 13, move into how many times the sheets are changed in the rooms about the soi, and we end up with a reference to the liberal incline of CNN. Interesting. Mr Travelfox, may I suggest you spend your time a bit more wisely whilst in Pattaya? Forget the board for a week and go out there and see if you can soil those sheets so that they NEED to be changed TWICE daily. Have a nice holiday. 5 more days and wheels up. James -

Brother Emil. I'm not afraid to do some work. Hell, my ex laid there like a stump for 17 years whilst I had the bed springs a rockin. Now, I make sure before I pay bar on a tg that she's got swivel hips ala Elvis in his hey day-and she will not be leaving the building after a 45 minute performance. 43 more and wheels up. J

These are interesting posts. I have never even considered spending any time on my holiday lifting weights or riding the stationary bike-chasing for tg and slamming beer for me is what holidays are all about. Is lifting 12 ounces repetitively considered a workout? Jimmy

good clean accomadation in bkk
Jimmybb replied to blondeboy68's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Roland, I am on a tight budget this trip myself. How mutt does it cost to stay in a bus shelter in Sukumvit? James -
Northwest Air just pisses me off no end. I recently booked with China Airways for my next trip to LOS. I did this because NWA had jacked up their fares some $400 more than several carriers that service BKK. So, I burned 25,000 freq NWA miles to get me to LAX, then I booked China from LAX -BKK-LAX for $814 including taxes and the other sundry charges carriers have been tacking on as of late. In addition, I began an email correspondence with NWA customer relations to voice my concern that NWA was pricing a lot of us out of continuing to be loyal customers because their fares were significantly higher than NWA competitors. All I got for my efforts was the bull shit that NWA appreciated my business, but do to market conditions the price is higher, yibida, yibida, yibida..... Now that I have depleted my mileage and opted for another carrier they come up with a decent miles/cash promotion. Just my luck! The only reason I stayed with NWA was because it is the ONLY carrier I can take that can get me from my home to BKK and back. So now I have learned my lesson-FUCK Northwest and now I shall use alternative carriers even if it is an inconvenience. I guess the upside is that I will not have to look at 200 pound flight attendants serve me disguisting tunafish sandwiches with attitude. Live and learn. James

Soi 13 and Haven Hotel update
Jimmybb replied to ROLAND's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
As far as I am concerned the Haven is a bust. Steve can be a total dickhead and I would never stay there again. James -
I stayed there last month and the noise was horrible. Otherwise, I like this hotel and have stayed there three times previously. I never had a problem bringing tg in and the staff were always courteous. The Sportsman's bar right next door serves passable grub as well, and the location cannot be beat. James

I'll bet that EVA flight originated in Milwaukee and a few of our lovelies were exiting the aircraft when it collapsed. Jimmy
