I have never had a problem at the Eastiny Inn and stayed here several times. Never charged a joiner fee and I brought not two but three girls back to my room a couple of times. Never found the staff here to be anything but fair and very helpful. But let me also say I've seen many guys come back to many hotels in Pattaya drunk and loud and make their own problems. I'm not saying that was the case here just pointing out a fact of life in Pattaya.

"I imagine Eva deluxe is similar to Virgin Atlantic premium economy, economy is good if the aircraft is not too full because usually the arm rests fold up and you can stretch out." Sorry Eva's armrest in Deluxe are fixed and don't fold up. So even if the seat next to you is empty it doesn't really help.

One thing that should be noted about Eva Deluxe Class is that they say Business Class Seats. Well, they have some features of Business Class Seats but they are small, only 18.5" wide vs most Business Class Seats are 20-22" wide. Also I have never seen Business Class seats that are four across. Overall not a bad deal, but not really Business Class, how about one up economy? Fishingtime

I would recommend against buying a house in Pattaya. If you want to own a place a condo is the way to go. You can find several good buildings within the city that are well run and offer great services. You will have a hard time getting a loan for your purchase. One of the documents you need when you purchase a condo is a statement from the bank showing that the money came from outside of Thailand. Condos can be had for 500,000 baht to several millon baht per unit. One of the buildings I like is Markland on Soi 2. Markland is made up of about 270 condos and about 200 hotel rooms. Because it is also a hotel the full time hotel staff and management is in place. But the condo owners out vote the hotel units so everything is in check. Prices are not cheap here, ranging from about 1.5 millon baht to about 8 millon baht. A good thing about a condo is you can leave it for several months and it is safe. If you have a house you would need to hire someone to check it every so often.
