I think that a bit gets lost in the Thinglish ... From my experience, what the Thais mean is that "compared to them", all farangs are rich, or farangs have big money, "compared to them'. From their perception, it's probably true. The average Thai who busts his gut all year for six days a week can't afford to holiday in Europe or the US for starters.
