Try the Crystal Palace hotel in naklua pattaya,around 550 baht,big clean rooms,a/c,resturant,small pool. Bit out of the way but the baht buses go past every few minutes & there are a few bars & go-gos down the road but mostly german-owned.

I agree,all going well by the weekend it should all be booked.

Flown with them a few times,but never long haul.Never had any problems.The steward/stewardess were very polite & made a big fuss of any kids on the flights.

Im wanting to fly out to Los,but due to work i cant go before xmas eve.I found this flight with southall travel £612 all in but its with Aeroflot via Moscow. I dont care what way i go as long as i get there,but i was hoping some of you guys might know of a cheaper flight for that time? ps = been on ebookers,air-line network,expedia.no luck

I went to an old firm game once in the 80`s,i think it was the 1986/87 season.A friend i worked with in London got hold of a pair of tickets. Shit my pants I thought i had seen it all going to the North London derby. I had some prick try & burn me alive by throwing a flare at me & that was in Glasgow city centre.Never again

If it was a straight choice between being in England for a month & watching the games or being in Los & not watching one single game Los wins everytime Rather watch the game with a few beers & a BG back in the room, than a packed bar full of swearing & the possabilty of a punch up.Thats not my idea of a good night out in Los.

Location wise soi 3 is great.Still a quiet soi to stay but near lots of very good bars in soi 2 & on the second road & the best soapies are also a very short walk away..One mansion or Sunshine vista are not bad places to stay in soi 3.. If you like bland rooms there is always the welkom inn.

Its all on Location,as Big D said.A good friend of mine rents a house in Issan.About an hours drive south east of Korat city.He pays 4,000 baht a month for this lovely 3 bed bungalow on 3 rai of land.Hes living a very good life & hes got about 2 million baht in an bank account in LOS which he thinks should last him over 20 years if all goes well. The thing he did do before moving out was seelling his house & buying a one bed flat which he rents out back in the UK.With the equity he made from the sale of his house he stuck half in LOS & the other on the mortgage of his flat.So he rents his flat out for £600 pm & only has a £300 to pay on the mortgage of his flat.As long as he rents his flat out & keeps getting the extra £300 he has it made. Hope this makes sense

Thats the price of at least an ST,ARE YOU MAD MAN?? Only joking payed £3.00 outbound £7.00 return to Milan last year with Ryan-Air. Just shame about the airport tax,but still a great deal if you want to get away for a few days.

I would also like to add what a great place Samet is.& only a short drive down the coast from Pattaya.Ive stayed at the Malibu resort a few times & found it great.Ok the pool is a bit small but the beach/sea are fantastic Looks like i might pay a visit to Hat Sai Kaew next time.

I wonder if GW & Tony Blair were walking down soi 6 ,which one would be walking into a Lady-Boy bar for some action & which one would be B/F a BG???. My money is that Blair is the Sucker & taker. & GW would be getting pissed then shooting his load early over a BG.

Im sure you will find a place to watch the match.Try the Atlantic bar second rd,near soi 3. Going back to the Match,did you see the interview with Walter Smith after the game?.He had a big smile on his face so im sure his players are ganna bust a gut now unlike under Voghts.Defence they looked quiet solid.But they still need to find that player that can turn the game like a Dalgleish or Archie Gemmel.
