Difficult to answer .....it generally starts to rain about 6pm for an hour or two.....this said its probably the equivilant of a days worth elsewhere. It can rain heavy during the day but normally the clouds start to gather about 3pm. Its been raining heavy today in Pattaya but it needed it .....its been to hot here this month.....clears the air a bit!

Stiffler................I always use Eva ..........as far as i am aware the limits are 20kg economy and 25kg for evergreen deluxe............on top of these allowances you are allowed a limit of 7kg personnal bag. Do you have a personnal bag if not you could transfer the extra 6kg into one and that/ll give you 20kg in your suitcase. If you are travelling evergreen deluxe of course you/ll have no problems with weight. I travel with evergreen and once was bang on the 25kg limit for my case but wanted to send my personnal bag (7kgs) with it (to save me lugging it about amsterdam airport) and they wouldnt let me, even though it was all going on same flight! I reckon it depends how full the flight is sometimes as to how relaxed with the limits they are. You might be pushing your luck at 26kgs if you have a personnal bag as well. Out of interest let us know how you get on.

Heres one for you the link above to the lek hotel home page (see jack_daniels) has a special rate for internet uses of 1800 baht/night for the deluxe room.............i have just been down this morning to book my cousin in for 2 nights and they let me have same room for 1500/night...........he works in Taiwan for Phillips and they pick up bill. Goes to show these special rates on internet aint always that special........T.I.T

ok here we go.........15 apartments 3 of which are 2 bedroomed and 2 bathrooms...........all have cable tv and safe in room.......all have fridge and 2 ring gas hob and sink (pots etc included). 3 floors with 5 apartments on each floor.......pool and food available if you dont wont to cook....english owned with oz manager living on premises.......the english guys wife and thai family run it all. Prices........May 1st to Oct 31st....ground floor 11000baht/month upper floors 12500 baht/month or 2 bedrooms 16500 and upper floors 18000baht/month........nov 1st to apr 30th 1 bed ground floor 14500 and upper floors 16000baht/month.......2 bedroom ground floor 20000 and upper floors 21500baht/month (you can book by the week pro - rata). they/ll do laundry for you if needed. these prices are a year old but wont of changed. Telephone number 038 421648 or fax 038 422728........address if needed is 322/4 moo 10, soi 13, pattaya. On a personal note i was down there 2 days ago booking my mother in for this xmas (i live in pattaya) shes stayed there for last 4 years every xmas....really likes the place as its handy for royal garden etc. My advice would be book early as its popular especially over xmas. One more thing they charge 5 baht for electric on top of tariff....works out about 1000 baht a month depending on how much air con you use......gas for stove is 100baht which will last a couple of months....water is free.............

If you dont mind being beach side of 2nd road................you could try the Golden Crab in soi 13 .....15 apartments set around pool.....seperate bedroom / kitchen living room......they run about 17000 baht a month . English owned. Not a bad place if you want to escape from a hotel room. If you need phone number etc.....post another message.

yes you can buy extra in Paris but you/ll have to pay the higher rate in the duty free shop.....ie the cigs will be about 22 pound a carton.............just take a chance and buy them in Bangkok at 7 pound a carton its more exciting that way ........good luck

Julio just curious did you go through the left hand channel at teeside or right hand side (as though you had travelled from within the eec) . Only ask as i am heading back through teeside shortly....in 6 years of travelling through teeside i have never been stopped mind you i always go through the wrong channel...
