Can anyone assist with budget airlines that fly direct from Bangkok to the Philipines as well as rough costs for return tickets Thx

I have been to the Bangkok Pattaya Hospital 4 or 5 times in the past 18 months living here. The cost is 400 baht for the doctor plus extras and you do have the choice to say no. I don't know the costs for overnight stays but the cheap rooms are about 1600 baht plus services. I would not be without health insurance here and yes the do give you lots of medication whether it be this hospital or just going to the local clinic (doctor) Normally my Thai wife just goes to the pharmacy and tells them what's wrong and gets the right pills This hospital is maily for a user pays service not like a government hospital

Hi Bat This has be a much debated question for some time with a lot of discussion for and against. Personally, if I only had 3 days in LOS I would head straight to Pattaya. This is my 5th trip next month and most of it will be spent in Pattaya and maybe a couple of days in Bangkok. Have a great trip Dave

Thanks for all of the feedback. I received an email last night wanting my credit card no etc and quoting 700 baht a night. I'll probably stay at the Apex again (500 baht) or as an alternative I'm looking at Miss Meneypennies bar Dave

Hi Guys I have just picked up a fare to BKK from Brisbane from Gold Club Travel for $1500 return. I know this is expensive for Aus standards but when you only book your ticket on 18 December during the high period it's ok. Thanks Ben for 2 great days of golf - fun days with excellent caddies, good company and a fun time - especially after not hitting al ball for 10 years. The day is really worth it and the meal in the aircon club house is first class. Its even more fun when you try to tee off in fromt of about 60 guys working on the course. Will post pics when they are developed. ;D
