  1. I'll take your long winded answer as a no.
  2. How would you feel if I changed your handle from Hub to I married a Thai whore and lied to my parents because I'm ashamed of where we met and the type of work she did. Would that show my sense of humor? Dead on accuracy in judgement? You may not think it's humorous or accurate. Since I have my original military discharge papers it would be easy to prove my record in Vietnam as far as medals I received. I also have my daughter and mine old passports which would make it easy to prove all the as one guy put it "fantastical trips" dad and daughter took over the years. Kind of hard to photo shop visa entry and exit stamps in the passports. Once again easy to prove all the trips I've taken to LOS over the years with my passport entry and exit visa stamps. If you want me to prove my "Walter Mitty" life easy to do. All you have to do is make a $5000USD donation to the Pattaya Orphange and once you prove you made the donation, I'll match your donation with my own $5000USD donation. Win win situation for the kids and you get the chance to show me up. Wanna play? I'm in Pattaya next month and can bring my original documents with me. CheshireTom, Your welcome to play also. I'm even willing to match your $5000USD donation.
  3. LMAOAY when you pull this childish stuff.
  4. Once again your just being silly changing my handle to WalterMittyUSA. It's always your words that show what kind of guy you are. Lame.
  5. SEATTLE, Nov. 22, 2007 -- Boeing (NYSE:BA) said KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, part of the Air France/KLM Group, has placed an order for additional 737 and 777 aircraft. The airline will add three next-generation 737-700s and two 777-300ERs (Extended Range) to its fleet. As part of the agreement, KLM took options on one additional 737 and two additional 777s. The order, worth approximately 716 mln usd at catalogue prices, was previously posted to the Boeing orders and deliveries website and attributed to an unidentified customer.
  6. Check out www.pattayarentaroom.com I stayed at the Yensabai Condo a few times and liked it. Large studio with kitchen in room safe, 25"TV, fridge.
  7. Airbus has a break even point of 470 planes with the 380 give or take a few. Along with the 350 debacle where a very expensive redesign has taken place. What will the break even point be with this plane? Airbus bottom line will take big hits for years to come. Without EU 'launch aid' Airbus will be in a very precarious position.
  8. Once again I 'feel' for you bro. Some guys on this forum laughed when I told them about my bag of coins I always carry. When the BG wants to top off her phone or needs taxi money, I merely point to the bag of coins I gave her that morning. When I go to customs I don't have to worry about the guy making change. Why because I've got all the change he'll need for the week. I love to watch the look on his face as I slowly count out 600 one baht coins. You'd be surprised when I start to double check my count how quickly I'm waved through to the exit.
  9. I 'feel' for you bro. Back in the cheap seats where I usually fly we're packed in like sardines and fortunately there's no room for a large dog. Seriously write a letter enclose the photo and if you have a picture of her using her laptop send that in also. UA most likely will send you a few system wide upgrade certificates.
  10. BOEING is bullish the 787's new production and first flight schedule will be met, despite speculation among airlines and leasing companies that there could be further delays. Boeing commercial airplanes president Scott Carson said Boeing was ahead of its deadlines by a day or so as program momentum accelerated. Boeing last month announced a six-month slip in the 787's first flight and first delivery due to several issues, including a shortage of the correct fasteners and software issues. After the rollout on July 8, the tail of the first 787 was detached but has since been reinstalled. Mr Carson said sections of the fuselage were complete and ready for insulation blankets. He conceded, however, that there were a few "more fasteners to be replaced" but said they were in easy-to-access areas of the aircraft. The electronics bay is being assembled and Honeywell is believed to be on track with the flight control software. Boeing expects the 787 to take to the air at the end of March. Jetstar is due to take delivery of its first 787 in 12 months - six months late. Qantas and Jetstar are the largest airline customers with a combined order for 65, with 20 options. Mr Carson also said Boeing and Emirates were still working on the range and payload capabilities of the 747-8, with insiders at Emirates telling The Australian a deal may be struck for an order for 20 by year's end. Emirates has been pressing Boeing to offer the original 747-8 stretch of just 3.6 metres to increase range by 300 nautical miles, but Boeing has so far been reluctant to commit. "Boeing and General Electric are working very hard to meet the (Emirates) range/payload requirement with both engine and aircraft configuration improvements," Mr Carson said. "We are extremely close and deep in discussion." One observer told The Australian that a deal was almost ready to be announced at the Dubai Air Show, although that comment just brought a smile from Mr Carson. Emirates wants a 50 tonne payload to 8300 nautical mile capability for Dubai-US West Coast operations. Boeing has enjoyed considerable sales success with the 747-8, with sales so far topping 100 with 75 options and price rights. Boeing is also working on engine and aerodynamic improvements in the 777-300ER and 777-200LR aircraft, , according to Mr Carson. "We (Boeing and GE) are working on improvements from the GEnx (for the 787) program into the GE90," Carson said. He also noted that Boeing was finetuning the aerodynamics of the aircraft and expected to offer airlines a package that would match the promised seat mile costs of the newly launched A350-1000 years before that aircraft entered service. In the longer term, Boeing is considering its options for a replacement for the 777 that would possibly enter service in the 2015-2018 time frame. Both Virgin Blue and Air New Zealand have recently ordered 777-300ERs.
  11. If you want Jack to tell you what he paid. Why not ask him? I don't have a clue what he paid as I never asked.
  12. Of course it represents good value. It's clean, newly renovated with non slip tiles in the bathroom. In room safe, TV, AC, fridge and a great location on 2nd Road. Good selection of rooms at various price points from a small room for 450, medium and large room priced up to 800 baht per night. Unlike you, I've actually stayed at Sky-Top and I've compared it to other guest houses in the area, Tropical Bert's and the Queen Vic come to mind and they are all good value for the money.
  13. Like I said before it's best for the guy to talk to Pete about long stay discounts or anything else.
  14. Go back and re-read the first paragraph maybe you missed the part where the US Government was unwilling to invest the necessary capital to complete the mission. EADS executives still are under investigation for insider trading. Sad day for Euro ethics.
  15. A French inquiry into possible insider trading at EADS, the parent company of Airbus, has gained momentum after the country's financial market regulator submitted documents about the investigation to prosecutors. A spokeswoman for the Paris prosecutor confirmed Wednesday that Xavière Simeoni, the investigating magistrate who began looking into the share transactions a year ago, had received the report from the regulator, the Financial Markets Authority, or AMF. She declined to discuss its contents because the investigation was continuing. A spokeswoman for the regulator said, "French law requires us to transmit this information, without delay, once there is evidence likely to qualify as a crime." She declined to specify when the evidence that prompted the notification was obtained. The regulator said in a statement that the documents, which it filed in early September with prosecutors, formed part of a continuing inquiry that was not expected to conclude before the beginning of 2008. The case centers on whether executives of EADS, formally European Aeronautic Defense & Space, and Airbus were aware of serious problems with the production of the Airbus A380 superjumbo jet when they exercised stock options from November 2005 to March 2006 - months before the plane's difficulties became public in June 2006. The French newspaper Le Figaro reported Wednesday that it had been shown copies of a "preliminary note" filed by the AMF indicating that the investigation was focusing on 21 top managers, including the two co-chief executives of EADS at the time, Noël Forgeard and Thomas Enders, as well as Arnaud Lagardère and Manfred Bischoff, who were the co-chairmen. Le Figaro said the regulator had identified as many as 1,200 individuals who had engaged in suspect trading of EADS shares. The regulator also cited a December 2005 memo addressed to Thierry Breton, then the French finance minister, warning that EADS would soon enter a "zone of turbulence" and advising the government to pare its 15 percent stake, the newspaper said. The AMF declined to comment on the details reported by Le Figaro. EADS said that it was "most surprised" by the publication of details of the agency's report and said it considered the leak an unlawful breach of the investigation's confidentiality and the principle of the presumption of innocence. EADS already is in the middle of a restructuring of Airbus in which it plans to cut more than 10,000 jobs across Europe and sell up to seven factories. Airbus is scheduled to deliver its first completed A380 jet to Singapore Airlines on Oct. 15, nearly two years behind schedule. EADS has said manufacturing delays will probably reduce its earnings by more than $6 billion from 2006 to 2010. A number of the individuals named in the regulator's report continue to hold senior positions at Airbus - notably Enders, who is now Airbus chief executive; his No. 2, Fabrice Brégier; John Leahy, the head of customer relations; and Tom Williams, the head of aircraft programs. An Airbus spokeswoman said all four executives had declined to comment on the regulator's report. EADS has consistently maintained that share trading by its executives was in line with company regulations and was done with the approval of the company's compliance officer. But the regulator's findings, if true, suggest that a far larger circle of company insiders may have been involved in suspect trades than was initially believed. In June 2006, when EADS acknowledged that deliveries of the A380 would be delayed by six months - sending its shares tumbling 26 percent - attention focused on Forgeard and his children, who together exercised options worth nearly €10 million from March 9 to March 15, 2006, earning more than €2.5 million, or $3.5 million at current exchange rates, in profit, according to regulatory filings. Forgeard, who has insisted that he did nothing wrong, was ultimately pressed to resign his EADS post. A lawyer for Forgeard did not return calls seeking comment Wednesday. Lagardère, who stepped down as the EADS co-chairman in July, is chairman of the Lagardère Group, which owns 7.5 percent of EADS. On Wednesday, he swiftly rejected what he said were unfounded accusations. In a statement, the Lagardère Group said that it would pursue "all legal actions needed" to obtain compensation for damages suffered by the leaking of the report's contents. Breton, the former minister, dismissed the report, telling Le Monde: "The state's conduct was irreproachable." Le Figaro cited a memo submitted to the regulator by an unidentified author in which Breton was advised, following a board meeting on Dec. 2, 2005, that it would be "opportune for the state to profit from the current value of the shares, which incorporates only the good news of the last financial year." France continues to hold a 15 percent stake in EADS. Frederik-Karel Canoy, a lawyer representing individual French shareholders of EADS, said that the group had filed a complaint Wednesday against Breton, alleging his "complicity" in concealing the A380's troubles. "If he had knowledge of the problems, then as the minister he was obliged to inform the public and all shareholders," Canoy said. The market regulator's submission follows a similar move in July by Germany's financial market regulator, which submitted evidence of possible illegal share trading to prosecutors in Munich, where EADS has its German headquarters. The German case appears to be far more limited in scope, however, and concerns just five individuals, none of whom are company managers. Louis Gallois, the chief executive of EADS, who did not sell shares at the time, tried to play down the findings, saying his job was to ensure that managers are not distracted by the negative publicity, according to The Associated Press. "We are entering the period of convalescence," Gallois said. Interesting story of possible top level mangement at Airbus involved with insider trading. Is this an example of Euro ethics, I had explained to me in a previous post????????????
  16. What type of shipping container are you planning on using? Do you have the original box it came in?
  17. Gregg's Kitchen on 2nd Road near soi 6 has what your looking for. He makes his own pies.
  18. I could give pricing that was current as of last July or the punter could go on Sky-Top's website and get up to date pricing. For the long stay guest he can negotiate price with the owner and this will vary with low or high season stay.
  19. Once again the Eu taxpayer is being asked to pony up 'launch aid' for the 350 and the break even point on the 380 is hugh. Me thinks their crying to the bank. EU taxpayer Airbus
  20. Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific Airways has ordered 10 of Boeing Co.'s new 747-8 cargo planes and seven long-range 777 passenger jets, the companies said Thursday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Boeing said the planes were worth $5.2 billion at list prices, though airlines typically negotiate substantial discounts. Cathay Pacific said the 747-8 freighters will replace seven older Boeing 747-200 aircraft in its fleet, boosting the airline's total cargo capacity. The airline's current fleet includes 19 Boeing 747 freighters. Eight others were on order before Thursday's order for 747-8s, a stretch version of the four-engine jumbo jet which Boeing is scheduled to deliver to its first customer in late 2009. To date, Boeing said it has received 73 orders for the 747-8 from eight customers. Cathay Pacific's 777-300ERs will fly nonstop routes to North America and Europe. Chief Executive Tony Tyler told reporters in Hong Kong that the airline plans to buy more 777s sometime in the future because of robust demand on those routes. Cathay Pacific has said the Boeing 777-300ER will become the backbone of its long-haul fleet, replacing the slightly larger Boeing 747-400. Boeing said Cathay Pacific's latest 777-300ER purchase adds to a previous order for 19 of the widebodies, the first of which came in September. The airline's previous order included four 777-300ERs it plans to lease. Cathay Pacific said it also has taken purchase rights for 14 additional 747-8 freighters. Purchase rights are commitments that do not reserve slots in the production line and are subject to availability. Cathay Pacific said its current fleet of 110 planes will grow to 147 planes by 2012.
  21. Alex unfortunately became unreliable and didn't show up to meet guys who booked. He stiffed me also.
  22. If you want to find out what the monthly rate is www.skytopcenterpattaya.com and I'm sure Pete the owner will be more then glad to give you up to date info on your request. Your right many other places just as close or closer to good markets as Sky-Top but I'm not talking about other places.
  23. Monthly rate is available and Pete will negotiate on price depending on the season. IMHO location is great. BigC is down the road about a 8-10 minute walk. Tops is about the same distance going the other way. Soi 6 is less then a two minute walk. Sometimes it takes longer for a break in traffic then it does to walk. Last but not least Beach Road is one block away with easy access to Walking Street by baht bus. One other plus for Sky-Top it's newly renovated with fresh paint on the walls. New tile on the floor and non slip tile in the new bathroom. I find the non slip tile very handy when I've had a few drinks and taking a shower with Ms Right Now.
  24. Pete and Sky-Top have nothing to do with Tom's distortions. He's coming after me and he thinks Sky-Top is an easy target to get to me.
  25. QUOTE(CheshireTom @ Oct 27 2007, 04:32 PM) What happened to your relocation? I thought you were staying for good. Wife and I will be looking at houses from 20 December and she goes home on the 25th. I'm staying on to continue to look for a suitable place and we're looking to make the move next October. Plan is to spend the winter in Pattaya and back in Philadelphia for the summer. Emil, As you can see I answered his question recently and in a reasonable manner. Tom pulls his forgetful act frequently as I've explained before, Tom is intellectually dishonest.
