Mr Toom's driver was waiting for me even with my plane arriving almost an hour early. No hassle trip and a good price.

When I was stationed in Vietnam, I'd see the Vietnamese carry a rat home by it's tail. Hmmm good eats that day.
-
My wife and I currently pull 4K USD per month not including investment income. We live well but I know we can live like medium King in Pattaya on this amount. Up north in Udon we should be able to live like a large King on this.

I may be cheap but not that cheap. BTW what time does the baht bus leave?

Sky-Top was completely refurbished late last year when Pete the Ozzy owner moved one shop over when he had lease 'problems'. I check in later this week and will give a update on the situation. Two days till wheels up...........................

Pattaya Pete gave you a valid answer that holds true today. Couple of years ago I lived in Pattaya on 30K for one month. I stayed at Sky-Top had a liv in GF that I paid 6K per month. We didn't go out drinking every night but we did go out once or twice a week. Living on 30K was doable but very tight.

In Jomtiem going down Beach Road till it ends and turns left there's a beach front seafood restaurant at the turn that serves excellent food at a reasonable price. Mostly Thai's eat there so you know it's priced right.

I'm not an expat yet but I'm getting to the point where I can damn near start counting. The answer to your question is simple. How friendly and outgoing do you plan on being? If your content to say hi when you pass someone in the hallway, you'll run into what goes on in the US. If you stay in a large condo there should be guys/couples that share some of the same interests as you. It's up to you on how much socializing you do.

Airbus and Boeing products running behind schedule

Before your patriotic feelings go through the roof, i just want to remind, that most of the parts of the 787 have the "made in Japan", "made in Sweden" and made in Italy stamp on it. I gave credit where credit is due. Without the subcontractors delivering quality parts on time the Dreamliner would be a pile of parts sitting on the assembly line. -

First Fully Assembled Boeing 787 Dreamliner Rolls Out Brandon Hill (Blog) - June 28, 2007 3:12 PM It has been a long time coming, but the first Boeing 787 Dreamliner has rolled off the assembly line. Charles Conklin -- an avid aviation enthusiast -- managed to snap some pictures of a fully assembled Dreamliner sans paint. According to Flightblogger, the official roll-out ceremony for the Dreamliner is on July 8 with the first delivered scheduled to take place in May of next year. The production run of aircraft is completely booked until 2013 at the earliest. The Dreamliner is the next generation of airliners for Boeing and makes use of composite materials in 50 percent of its body and wings. The use of composite materials has helped Boeing keep the weight down which allows the Dreamliner to be 20 percent more fuel efficient than its closest rivals. Top speed for the aircraft is Mach 0.85. Business travelers will appreciate the integrated networking capabilities on the Dreamliner. Boeing had initially planned to equip its Dreamliner with wireless networking, but instead decided on a wired networking to save 150 pounds per plane. As of April, 44 customers have ordered 544 Dreamliners at a cost of $75 billion USD. How sweet it is. Once again American ingenuity and manufacturing prowess comes to the fore. Along with the many suppliers all over the globe the Dreamliner rolls out ahead of schedule with the engines attached. -
In at least one respect women seem to be the same worldwide, they love to stick a knife in another womens chest or back at the first opportunity.

Check out www.skytopcenterpattaya.com Excellent location on 2nd Road two minutes away from soi 6 and one block from the beach. Meets your criteria for price and it offers in room safe, AC, fridge, cable TV and it's clean. High speed internet downstairs. Friendly staff and owner. I stay there when I come to Pattaya. Excellent value for the money. Matter of fact I'll be there starting next week for a three week stay.

How sweet it is. On line and on time and up to 42 waiting to take to the air. See what can happen when the engineering team talks to the manufacturing team. -

Looking good and it has it's engines attached. -
Book your hotel now for BKK as this is the busiest time of the high season. Excellent hotel I've stayed at and is in the middle of all the action www.majesticsuites.com Only downside to being black, you guys have a 'rep' for having a huge dick. BG might want to see it before you pay bar. Years ago I saw this happen. Guy was a little upset at the BG hesitation until he realized why she hesitated. She made him pull it out.
-
I agree after awhile party mode tends to kill your liver and the BG scene gets old. I was surprised at the number of expats who basically abandoned the nite life. They still go out with friends but pay bar rarely.
-
Cheap Charley looking to save some baht on the ride to Pattaya.
-
Do the BG have to account for her time on her day off? I don't think it's fair to go into a bar during her time at work and make arrangements for later without paying bar but if she calls me after work and wants to come over. As far as I'm concerned she's off the clock.
-
Would you give her a job ?,
BigDUSA replied to alan lad's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
Alan, If she was a good employee, I'd take her back BUT with what you've written about her, I'd show her the door, nicely but I'd show her the door. Who needs all the hassle and drama she brings with her. -
Check out UBC satellite service.

You made your point and as an old geezer who's investing days are behind him, I'd rather keep my assets off shore and pay rent. BTW thank God for the guys who are willing to buy a condo/house and rent them out to guys like me.
