Few years ago, I went with a fellow board member to the Eden Club in BKK. I didn't partake but he told me it was the best 3K+ he ever spent. According to him the BG were simply amazing and well worth the cost. For me being a cheap Charley, I figured why pay to disappoint two BG when I could pay to disappoint only one.

I recently purchased a small 37" Panasonic plasma for our library. It cost $1200USD. I'm pleased with the picture but I prefer watching on our 65" Mitsubishi in our home theater. When we bought our home six years ago I did the research and designed our home theater and had it built to my specs. Builder thought I was crazy with my specs but in the end he was impressed with the quality of the video and sound. I use a Yamaha receiver as a front end with Sunfire, Hafler as my amps and I use Martin-Logan speakers for my front and center channel. For the rear channels I use Radio Shack cheapies. I'm hooked up to Directv sat. HD comes in great and they're adding more HD channels later this year.

I've flown Thai a few times from the US and the planes are always full or close to it.

I've stayed at the Yensabai Condo couple of times and it's excellent value for the money. In room safe, 25" TV, huge room, swimming pool. Only thing I didn't like was the walk to Walking Street in the sun. BTW it's a 12 minute walk to Walking Street.

When I was stationed in Vietnam with the US Army, I'd occasionly fly with Air America (CIA) Airline. On one flight the Vietnamese crew chief runs to the back of the cargo plane with a two pound sledge hammer and starts to pound on the control wires. At this point I can say he had the full attention of the passengers.
