Hi guys! I know everybody is probably going to tell me to do a search on this topic but I tried and can find no results. I am planning on having my 1971 Jaguar limo shipped to Thailand once my wife and I make our move, does anybody know what the procedure is and how they base all the fee's associated with this process? also does anybody happen to know of a good and trustworthy mechanic in either Bangkok or Pattaya who can work on a Jag? From what I've seen is that the teaching jobs around Pattaya seem to be VERY low paying somewhere between 20k and 35k baht a month, side gigs I've seen pay around 200 to 300 bht an hour. At that rate of pay it will be very difficult to live even a somewhat normal life....more like you did while you we're a student not alone trying to raise a family! Good side is the education you already have is sufficent, with maybe a TESOL requirment. Good luck!

I got the tickets from FlyThai this morning....not such a good deal as I first thought!...Fare was $755.00 round trip......extra $145.00 taxes and booking fee! still saved $200.00.....what can ya do?

Anybody have any advice on the best way to obtain a flight from Bangkok to the States? I can find a flight for myself roundtrip from Kansas City to Bangkok for $800.00 and the airlines is quoting $850.00 one way for my fiancee to come back with me....any suggestions?
