I really think that most Thais know that farangs play around with girls in the scene and most don't really care!

I tried to find out information about a business which was listed on sunbeltasia's website and after about 10 emails I finally got an answer, they gave me VERY little info and when I requested more they emailed me the owners phone number in Australia. The number they gave was not correct and when I asked for a correct number all they said was.....That's all we have....good luck! needless to say I dropped the whole thing and was not very impressed with their service! If they were handling the sale of my business I'd be pretty pissed off!

I'm also a member of koratfarang.com and the reason you're not getting much results from members is because there's not much to do there! If you're looking for girlie type action you're much better off staying in Bangkok or Pattaya. Most farangs that live in Korat have families and do their partying in those cities as well. Now if you want a cool little beer bar, down on the lower floor of the mall they have a great place to sit and drink but thats about all you'll do. I can tell you of a few places that were mentioned above but the chances of finding p4p is not even close to being on the same scale and English is spoken very little. I was at the country bar across from the farang hotel a few times and both times I were there drunk Thai guys wanted to fight with me. I loved living in Korat but I have a family so it was just living life away from the party scene. Unless you have a strong reason for living there I would reconsider, a visit for a few days or maybe a week but you will get bored real easy.

One very important thing....If you do take her back to Thailand you might want to break the news to her via telephone about 5 minutes before you're plane takes off....She might not be to happy with you and better safe than sorry!

My wife is also Thai and from what I've understood is that if you get divorced within the first five years your wife cannot legally stay in the States! once she's back in Thailand she might have a hard time collecting any money from you! I'd take her back home for a vacation then tell her you're wanting a divorce and come back home....What's she gonna do? She's gonna need a lot of money to fight you from LOS. She doesn't need to sign any divorce papers......file that she went home for holiday and you never saw her again, all you need to do is send divorce papers to last know address and wait so many days for a response....no response then the courts rule in your favor and it's over! check with an immigration and divorce attorney for the right advice but it's not what everyone thinks.

I just found something out that might be of interest to some of you guys, you know I've been trying find a GOOD voip for Thailand, well today I called my current provider which is Vonage and they tell me that if I bring my unit from the States with me to Thailand and use it on my dsl there that I can call all I want to the States for free! and anybody who wants to call me can still call my local # and the call will be forwarded to my box in Thailand! now for calls within Thailand I need to use my cell or international rates will apply! sounds to good to be true!

I wonder what regular telephone rates would be for calling the States on a regular basis (15 calls per day)? sounds like even though they may be more expensive it might be a more relible way to go.

Do any of you guys use Skype? I'm trying to find the best internet phone service available. I need to figure a way where I can make calls to the States on a regular basis for business, any advice?

Thanks guys for all the info posted, I have been in contact with a center in Manila. I've never been to PI and not sure if it's a good a move as Thailand would of been.

My offer is this...I will pledge $25.00 per month to help this young lady get back on her feet! will any of you members step up to the plate and give something back to help a struggling mom in Thailand? LOS has given all of us memories that the average Thai could only dream about! sometimes people need help and I would like to see the owner of this bar help her make a difference in her childs life, keep her safe and not let her fall into the cracks of Pattaya. Lets all pitch in and help this girl, you know and I know that she doesn't belong in Pattaya and is only there to survive, can we show her that were not all a bunch of heartless whore mongering farangs that Thailand tends to beleive. Come on guys, contribute what can...Lets get this girl back with her family. I'm not talking long term support but enough to help her change her life. If anybody in Bangkok or Pattaya that could offer her a career or even a job where she can have respect, that would be excellent......What do ya say guys? ......Can you help a fellow human being? if we can get members here to help we'll set up an account for her with an atm card. Would you want to see your mom or your childrens mother having too prostitute to make a living?...Lifes hard enough for her being deaf in a country that really has little sympathy for disabilities.
