28 from me But I would be interested in hearing from people where they are thinking of living in LOS? I am not sure I could stay in Pattaya or BKK for the rest of my years. When I am over in LOS for 4 weeks in Dec and I will be attending Thai language lessons. I hope to be able to travel around and see more of LOS. If any board members are living in the North of Thailand, e.g. Issan, Burinam and would like a visitor please let me know.

Just wondered if anyone else was planning to retire to LOS from the Europe or the UK?

For the dates I am looking at, I think KLM is going to be best option although they only have 1 flight each day. -

Yes the China Airline is the best I can find from Cardiff, otherwise I have to go to Birmingham. Of course the KLM flights are cheaper than the Air China. Oh well I will try not to think about LOS to much as I am working Cardiff not the same as London, Amsterdam or Frankfurt so no direct flights. -

I should be based in Cardiff for at least the next 3 months and with Easter coming up I was looking to hope over to LOS for some R&R. KLM seems to be the best route to BKK from Cardiff but having lived in Amsterdam I know KLM is not exactly big on service or value. But they are the quickest route to BKK Emirate are offering good prices but an 8 hour wait for a plane in Dubai is not never appealing to be honest. -

Have you ever tried KLM or Air France? Can you remember how much you were paying? -

Of course I like that kind of personal training. But I also like go to the gym, well I have to 2008 due to Dr orders so would be nice to go with some one. Plus will do me good to keep out of the bars for a bit

This website does not look good on the Mac I am afraid to say, I am using Safari as the browser. But the idea of the website is a great idea. I have been looking to find a TG who would be interested in helping me work out. But to most of them going to the gym is craziest idea in the world. But a few rounds of golf is a great way to keep in shape.

Hi Everyone, I am looking for someone to help me with some websites I want to set up. I am currently working in Europe in the IT sector but I am coming to live and work in BKK for 6 months. I have some internet sites that I need to be set up and designed. So I was wondering if anyone had an experience of using Thai IT freelancers to do work for them? Thanks LIA

Just wondered if anyone was using this with any success. Seems I good way to keep intouch with people for free.
-
Nice website shame I am not in London
-
One thing to remember is that Thai are not fly direct to BKK at the moment. You have the 2 hour stop over in Copenhagen. But I am not sure if this ALL flights but is defiantly worth checking as you are paying for a direct flight.

KLM biz class vs Lufthansa biz class
LostInAmsterdam replied to sindre's topic in Airline Discussion
I have to agree the A340 has the new business class. Which is way head of the old 747. As Tom has said it is full of germans but hey it is the german flag carrier. Only problem I had was the Flight Attendant forgot I wanted to sleep the whole trip and woke me up for the food -
I also have one of these phones and they are great. A lot better than a mic and speakers or a headset. But they are not sold on Skype website so I guess you can get them from ebay.
-
Surelly this sort of thing would be better done in BKK. Because of a the higher number of expats and international companies looking to rent places.
-
That voicestick looks very good. Might give it a go when I run out of credit for skype.
-
I would also look in to flying Thai for about an extra £50 as the Eva return flight is not at night. I like the night flights as I am usually tired when I get on the plane

17,500 Free United/Alliance Miles
LostInAmsterdam replied to partyanimal's topic in Airline Discussion
The airline credit cards are a great way to get free miles even if you just use them to buy your plane tickets.
