I'm thinking that it might be difficult to find a book written in Thai, for Thais, using English search terms. Maybe if your livein were to form the search query in Thai, she could find something. Have her look for the Thai version of "western cooking recipes" or specific styles "english cooking recipes" or something like that...of course, the English cooking would be useless to me. I can't eat that stuff

Works for me...I'm going to the bookstore today to ask if there is anything available now.

There might be a market for it...at least one buyer already identified . No, her English is mostly verbal...she can puzzle out English written word, but gets it wrong much of the time..similar to my Thai skills.

And then what would you do with it, since nobody expects virtual money to be coinage? But, I hope short has one made up for us and shows what it would look like if it weren't virtual.

I checked xe.com, and the rates were definitely well above 32 at the time the OP was written. It lasted a week or so. I just missed checking that week.

Exactly , which means that the post that Midlifecrisis made informing us that she was uncredited was an answer as such , therefore breaking the 24hr rule....! I am not nitpicking here , i just want to clarify the rules....! Once an answer has been given, it's perfectly correct, and even useful to all of us, to verify the answer. The 24 hour rule applies to answers not already given. I'd expect you can see that point. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4

The buy rate for USD here is probably over 32, but that's the wrong rate to look at. I wonder if WU might be disguising that. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4

IMDB lists her as uncredited I always wonder how someone names a performer that's uncredited.Anyway, only credited performers count. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4

I've been watching the currency exchange booths and the bank rates in Thailand. I've not seen any over 32/USD. Where are these numbers coming from? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4

Go ahead. I don't see any point in it, but you're free to do so. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4

Pecan pie would be a reason in and of itself for me to take a trip to Bangkok. I haven't seen pecan pie anywhere in Pattaya. Evil Good news then. Beaver Bar in Ban Chang specializes in American style cooking. I have a friend pick me up a pecan pie whenever I get the urge for one of my favorite pies Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4

I've used Google (with no success) to find any books in Thai that describe western cooking, along with some recipes. By western cooking...I mean simple to complex dishes that are not Thai. You can find thousands of books on Thai recipes. Do Thais have something similar? Getting tired of grilled steak, salmon, pork chops, etc with French fries etc. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4

Eyes Wide Shut oops, that's how we got to Sydney, and I was the one who posted it, DOH ! Yes, Sydney Pollack in any movie except Eyes Wide Shut. Fuck it! It's probably been about 24 hours and I want to break this jam so I don't have to keep explaining this. Movie with Sydney Pollack: Michael Clayton Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4

Cate Blanchett Rewind! The last correct question is NAME A MOVIE IN WHICH SYDNEY POLLACK PERFORMED Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4

That would be do as I say not as I do?Someone screwed up the movies thread! That would be make a response to someone else's reply, which I believe I was doing..not just jump in with some out of the blue complaint that was completely irrelevant. I blame papillon for dropping the first match in the underlying, never dormant, criticism of all things AMERICAN. Or would you prefer we call ourselves Usains (or how about "Bolts")?
