We've been running on the now unsupported version of the forum software (Invision Power Board 2.3.6) during the initial release stages of their major upgrade to version 3.x.x. I've been waiting for version 3 to become stable and usable enough to move to it, and it seems that time has arrived. The new version IPB 3 is a major interface change to the forum software, but once you know how to use it, it has some very nice features for information presentation. I'll keep you posted as we move forward.

As of tonight, most gogos were closed between 3am and 3:15am. Insomnia and Ibar were closed by 3:30am. Marine on WS was still open at 3:30am. Lots of girls and guys in the streets looking to hook up. This might be a good thing

Can you read the technical section and learn how to "embed" a video? I think there must be a topic there. In this case, on the page linked to, there is a box that says "Embed". I clicked on that, and it copied the "embed" code into my copy buffer. I am now going to paste that same code below. After doing that, I will go to the POST OPTIONS below the post entry area, and select "HTML On - Auto Linebreak Mode". Click ADD REPLY, and voila! You have an embedded video.

I made a silly error, while doing a backup of the Pattayatalk server, and all of a sudden, the forum was down. After about 5 hours of working to fix the problem, it seems to be back up. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I know of at least one gogo (Sweethearts) that is opening an hour earlier until this blows over. There are probably more to come.

I was in BKK with a friend who suggested we head on down to someplace called Pattaya. On subsequent trips, I spent most of my time in BKK, but whenever things got dicey or boring in BKK, I'd head to Pattaya for a planned few days to get away. I'd usually plan for a 3 day trip and end up extending my stay day by day, for up to 10 days, before going back to BKK. This was usually caused by not being able to get up in time for checkout, and deciding to spend another day. All in all, I had a love-hate relationship with the place. I couldn't seem to get away, but felt I needed to.
