Doggie, We all want to play by the rules of R&A and USGA. However the caddies have tendency to touch the putting surface when showing the lines of putts. The rules of golf unfortunately stipulate that in this case the player will get 2 shots penalty. Since we all want to have fun and not want to start arquing with our caddies, I suggest that we agree that in these cases no penalty is given. 3 more weeks and then wheels up

I forgot to advice you to join to PSC (Pattaya Sports club) in order to get a membership card which entitles you to have good discounts on almost every golf course in Pattaya. You can find their webpage with Google. It contains a lot of information also from other discounts their card will give to you. Cheers

Hi Patient! I´ll be happy to join you for some rounds of golf. I too have a bad memory specially in names.(I wish people were coded by numbers). So far I do remember my score. (At least at the best of my knowledge). Anyway if you being from London don´t speak cockney I expect us to have a good conversation and good time too. At the end off last year I made reservation of Lek hotel. They asked too similar information what they are asking you now. I felt uncomfortable and called my credit card company(Visa). They told me that it´s a normal procedure and said it´s ok to send the information. I did this and no problem afterwards. But I agree that its like giving them an open check. I only gave the information because cc company gave go ahead. So I guess that it´s their responsibility. I´d advice you to call your cc company and ask their opinion. I´ve also made numerous orders via internet also giving the same information and so far have had no problems.

Doggie, As I PM:t to you. I got an attractive price for Chiang Mai from Thai air. However if I read Hilly`s price information correct there is no point for me to fly without you guys. So count me in when making reservations. After the Chiang Mai I will return to Pattaya again. The hotel rooms in CM are of course single without joiners fee, right? I been suffering a problem with rotator cuff but will start to practise soon to beat the hell out of the opponent since they got almost unfair backup from the great golf players from Bangladesh. Very, very sad news...... I am really sorry to hear this. I allways remember her smile from my trip last January. My condolences to her closests. :crying

I stayed at Lek hotel for two weeks at the end of january. It was the new wing. The even numbers don´t have a balcony and are facing the street. I changed my room to an uneven numbered and although it was smaller I preferred it with balcony facing the swimming pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was really good for 95Baht. Large fridge in the rooms and a beer only 35 Bahts. I was very satisfied and would stay again. But I don´t have any comparison in Pattaya so my judgement is based on that.

I just got back from Pattaya and had a great pleasure playing with doghouse. He has great skills for organising any kind of Golf event. We played some 6 rounds in different courses and everything run smoothly. I just needed to be outside my hotel. A really great guy . If you want everything to be in order and work use this guy´s services I highly recommend him.

Thanks for your answers. I will be in Ptya from 22.1.2004 - 01.02,2004. Would anyone of you want to join me for a round of golf. (Sometimes I might wake up early ). I have a handicap 16,9, play by the rules, have a love/hatry relationship for the game, good sense of humour. I can enjoy playing whatever your skill level is. We can allways have fun in playing. Even if you are very good (my son has handicap +1,6) and even he sometimes plays with me. Anyone? P.S If no golf maybe then we grab a few bear.

I sometimes want to sleep late and still play some golf. Can anyone recommend a course to play 9 holes not far from Ptya.
